Jamie Lynn Spears' TV show has reportedly been axed just weeks after the teenage star announced she is pregnant with her first child.

The 16-year-old initially won the support of bosses at network Nickelodeon after news broke she was 12 weeks pregnant last month.

But teen school drama Zoey 101, in which Spears plays the lead role, has allegedly been cancelled.

The fourth and final season has already been filmed, but show bosses are yet to decide if it will be aired.

A source tells British newspaper the Sun, "Nickelodeon bosses are still undecided whether to air season four or not.

"For now it looks like it has been canned."

I liked that show. I knew that it was comming after her pregnancy announcement. I hope that she is a better mom than big sis.

Boy - you do get the news before we do - I was reading on Yahoo just a couple of hours ago that they planned to continue the show regardless of the pregnancy (which seemed strange to me).

It's a shame - with most pregnant 16 yr olds, it's bad enough working around school, etc. but this also affects her career.

So, the loyal viewers of the show won't get any finale or resolution to their favorite show?

i wonder if it happens a lot with older actresses when they are about to go into labour, only to discover they been given the chop. she's not the first and most definitely not the last.

also whatever your views are on jamie, it is just stupid to cancel or kill off a show just because she is pregnant

It's about time.

Not much of a kid's role model if you ask me.

Thats lame. The fans and other actors shouldn't have to pay for that.

They should just air the last season on The N or something.

I'm not saying it's right, but I guess I can understand that decision. Can you imagine the screaming and balking they'd get from parents and concerned others if they aired it anyway with the news of it's 16 year old supposed role model being pregnant? Especially if things turned strange for Jamie Lynn-- things are relatively quiet right now but imagine if something happened over the next several months and she started garnering Britney-esque type media attention... It's an unstable situation right now that has every possibility of exploding into ugliness at any minute and I suppose cutting associations and letting the show and the young star sink into the abyss would be the smarter decision that any rapacious executive of a family-oriented network would make...

Well, we all saw it coming. I do feel bad for the crew and other cast members who are going to be without jobs, but hopefully they will all find something else soon. Is Nick still going to air that teen pregnancy special?? I haven't heard anything else about it.

Common, could any of you see that show doing well anyway?

I also believe it's wrong to cancel one of the highest rated shows on the network just because of her pregnancy. God, the shows a huge franchise that will most likely die soon because of one mistake.
