It was a sad episode, but I also thought it was very touching. I loved Willona's "eulogy". "He was an ORDINARY MAN!!!"

Ralph Carter should have done a better job acting sad though.

Good observation. I thought the same thing when I watched the episode. It was a sad show, just the same.

I actually agree with you. Although James still could have come home in the end.

That is what I thought was going to happen when I saw the ep for the first time. I was expecting him to appear at the end

Well, since James didn't come home or appear in that episode, how is this the best episode with James?! To me, the one with Lou Gosset playing Florida's brother was the best non-James episode to me.

I know, but the episode I spoke about was in that same season and it was a episode WITHOUT JAMES. We all have different taste, but "Michael's Big Fall" was my favorite non James episode that season and period.

Oh yeah that's right, I forgof but the a place to die ep was still better because it had a lot more excitement, the excitement died down in the Michael's big fall ep when florida went to the school to talk to michael's principal
