Could UM be leased or something from Spike TV so new episodes could be made so one of the main stations could play some actual new content of the show to replace their current missing content. Therefore hopefully UM could rate its pants off with no competition then they could continue to make new eps in the future and Spike TV could show the reruns.

Or am i just dreaming...

"Leasing" the show from Spike TV sounds like wishful thinking, as no other network has any official ownership of the series (although Lifetime's contract with the show ends in 2008).

For as long as Spike TV has UM, reruns of the series will be airing exclusively on that channel, as would new updates and first-run episodes. Plus, Spike TV will get to choose the new host.

Obviously, I'm *obviously* kidding. Obviously. :D Although, I will admit that I'm curious to see who Spike TV thinks will fill Robert Stack's shoes. As they're trying to make the show more "man-friendly," I tend to see an older, distinguished gentleman or a hot little number narrating the segments. :)
