These songs were voted on, keep that in mind when viewing this list. Also, VH1 had pre-selected artists songs such as only listing SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT by Nirvana as a choice, they did not list their other hits. :rolleyes:**The show will air on Monday, Dec. 17:***

I am at a loss as to why Gerardo (Rico Suave) is on the list, but I have to remind myself these were voted on by stupid people.

I so agree with Madonna being in the top ten with VOGUE. That was the song of the year when it came out, if I remember correctly.

I'm a little surprised no Janet songs made the cut, she had so many great hits out in the 90's like That's The Way Love Goes, Together Again, If, Escapade, Love Will Never Do, Black Cat (even tho Rhythm Nation came out in 89, most of the songs were hits in 90) and so on

I'm a little surprised no Janet songs made the cut, she had so many great hits out in the 90's like That's The Way Love Goes, Together Again, If, Escapade, Love Will Never Do, Black Cat (even tho Rhythm Nation came out in 89, most of the songs were hits in 90) and so on
Amen to that. The 90's screamed out JANET! Her career began in that era. It's like not listing any songs from the 80's from Madonna. :rolleyes:
