A few days also, Miss Monika (aka catlover79) created a very special thread in my appreciation. And if that wasn't enough, Monika was there for me late last week and this weekend when I was having some personal difficulties and was a great friend and helped really cheer me up. As a way of saying thanks to her, I wanted to return the kindness and start my own thread for this really special girl.

And to clear up some nasty rumors that I've heard around here, Monika is not one of those old women who lives alone with 50 cats. To set the record straight, Monika is only 28 years old and only has 30 cats. :lol: ;)

I remember when I created this thread for Monika. I had just been dumped by a girl named Melissa that I had been seeing for only a week. Melissa had dumped me for some really insane reason. Monika was there to help me through that very difficult period. I still appreciate her having been there. :)

No, it's not quite a cat shrine. Our three cats are spoiled enough as it is!! :lol: I miss Big Chuck & Lil' John, by the way, I especially loved the Ben Crazy sketch (a spoof of Ben Casey). :rofl:

Let me just add and say even though I dont know you that well, but you seem like a nice and warm person which is ok in my book. You also have a great knowledge of pop culture which makes this place a lot of fun, and to say that you are one of the best things to happen to this site is an understatment.

I'm sorry that your week hasn't been going better, Monika. I'm sure the next job that you apply for you will get it. Heck, you'll be running the company by the time you are 40. I know that you put in a lot of hard work on the job, and I know you will be rewarded for it eventuially.

Adjusting to higher dosages of depression and/or anxiety medications can be really uncomfortable. When I first started taking my medication ten years ago, I doctor had to increase the dosage several times over the next few years. Everytime there was an increase, I would get sick. But since it made me feel better, it was well worth it in the end. I know that you'll be back to your smiling self really soon. :)

Monika I am sorry you didn't get that job. It will get better soon. I am going through a lot of the same struggles right now too. I am also looking for a job and it is not easy. :(
