Tonight's Episode...COUSIN CARL

From Season 1 episode number 8:

Brent's successful cousin Carl, now working in England, comes back to visit Dog River and everyone seems to love him except for Brent. After a while, even Brent fears his loathing of Carl might be misplaced. Thankfully at the town's talent show, Brent's fears of misplaced dislike are put to rest when Carl proves himself less than perfect. Meanwhile Davis' love of puppetry turns sour after the talent night and Oscar finally figures out a way to make some money from his old beer bottles.

Hmmmm........that explains why we never reviewed this ep....they were saving it for last! :lol: well, after season 4 anyway....
This is probably my second all-time fave ep, and it certainly contains my all time favorite CG quote......something Brent says about Oscar's homemade beer (I wont spoil it ;) )

Is it me, or was the whole giving Oscar his money by different people a DEJA VU moment? I seem to remember Oscar getting money before by people. Tell me I seen this particular moment before.

It probably aired on a night where I wasn't posting or I was not here. But there was another episode I am sure of it where Oscar or someone else for that matter was getting money "just to keep him quiet"...I can almost swear I have seen a similar storyline.

Other funny things in this show...the Scary Santa, Brent claiming he's not emasculated....while he's holding a "kiddy sand pail", and Les telling Oscar that he might be able to sell his classic beer empties on "ebay" and Oscar replying "They won't take them at "THE BAY"!!" (Hudson's Bay co stores...a Canadian institution since 1670) :lol:

They just aired a promo for tonight's episode...they showed Brent talking abt how Cousin Carl knows famous people and how lucky the people of CG get to hear all abt it. :lol:

Also we see Brent saying to his mom how he is a man, while Emma hands him a bowl of tapioca and asks how is his headache. :lol:
