God; He's my relief, my sanity, my comfort, my strength, my hope, and my joy.
My family; I couldn't imagine my life without them.
My man; I'm thankful I found such a great one.
Getting to work with our troops; I've gotten to meet some of the most wonderful guys and I'm thankful for each and every second I've been able to talk with them.
Of course my home, our health, and the fact that we're all together for the holidays.
-edit- need to add; Those I've met right here on SO. Truly some of the nicest people ever :).
Great thread! :)

Thankful for God, for He is what life is all abt. Without Him, life means nothing to me.
Thankful to God for giving me two weeks to say goodbye to my father before he passed away. I am also thankful my father taught us great values and morals and that material things are luxury items, that what matters more are the people around you. I am also thankful to my father for providing me with education.
Thankful for my family and my kids. Without them I am nothing. I can turn to them anytime for anything and they are there.
Thankful for my man. Although I can complain abt certain things abt him, I am thankful for all that he has had to endure with me, put up with and for being there for me. Thankful that God brought him to me.
Thankful for my health. Although I have my pain and my back problems and my recent surgery, I could have it worse.
Thankful I have never had things so bad that I have turned to drugs or alcohol to ease my pain.
Thankful for having my home and the means to live a comfortable life and not have to worry abt bills, debts and so forth.
I finally am thankful for all my friends that I have in my life, including those I have met here on Sitcoms. You all know who you are, whether you are someone I communicate with daily on S.O. or just chat with occasionally here on S.O. whether it is a post, P.M. or an email, you certainly have been there when I have had bad times and very good times. Thank you all for providing me with laughs, tears and just good ol' conversation. :bighug:

I don't know...I guess I'm thankful that I have enough sanity that I haven't killed myself. Thankful for my mom and boyfriend anyway; they'd be sad.
That my parents have enough money to support me since I'm a bum.
That my job is ok. I have a lot of little friends (the kids...the adults don't like me)
That I'm not a moron.
OH Nuts!

Caring people such as family and friends without their love and support I don't know what I'd be doing.
Having a wonderful family that loves me.

A lot of mine are pretty generic: God, family, health, etc. But I think they are worth mentioning.
For starters, God. Over the last few years I've questioned the nature of the entity we know as God. Although I've had my doubts about the literature and current perception of God, I've never lost faith that someone made all the beautiful things around me. Someone has looked out for me. When I was foolish, stupid or reckless, I survived because He/She cares. God is with me each time I get behind the wheel. And, boy, would I be lost without that! I've never lost my gratitude.
My family. I've lost a lot of people recently. Most likely I'll loose more before the decade is out. It's not something I like to think about. but it's real. I love them. They've supported me, and loved me and did their best to minimize the conflict and drama in the family. As such, I grew up in a loving and supportive environment. I am who I am because of them.
My dad's legacy.
My new friend, Dan. My best friend. An older gentleman who has proven his friendship on many occasions. Who has gone out of his way to help me. Who has helped my get where I am now, in my job. I hope he's one of those lifelong friends I keep hearing about. Maybe not. But I hope so. If notcc, I am grateful for what he has already done.
I am very grateful for my health. So many people fall apart, malfunction, brake. I have been blessed with reasonably good health. I pray for continued good health.
I am grateful for my jobs. My second job is merely temporary. To save money. My primary job is my life. It's not quite what I planned for myself, but it's a good job and pays well and I've earned respect and I love the people I work with. I thank God everyday that I am where I am; I am grateful to the people who made it happen. It certainly wasn't me.
I am grateful for my life. I am having so much fun here. Life is beautiful. I love it. Nature is glorious. It's important to notice details, structure, patterns. Clouds. Flowers. The bird's dance.
There are horrible things in this world. People are capable of terrible deeds. Nature can be violent. But life is beautiful. Life is precious. I am grateful for this opportunity. To what end, I don't know. But I am glad.

First and foremost, I couldn't be more thankful of the fact that I am still alive. I am grateful to have made it one more year since last Thanksgiving.
Other runner-ups include:
-My immediate family: My mom and my sister really test my patience very often, but I am thankful to have them.
-My extended family: Some of them can be quite nuts (some more annoying than others), but we are there for one another when we need to pull through. I am thankful for that.
-My overall health: Since late September, I have gotten had major problems with a chronic cough and still dealing with my migraines, but I am still grateful that I do work out 4-5 times a week to maintain good health for my future.
-My friends: Over the last year, I reconnected with all of my old childhood/high school friends who have been quite special to me. Still today, we spend that time together and are a part of each others' lives. I couldn't have asked for more from these friends.
-My jobs: Sometimes my fulltime job can drive me nuts, especially certain co-workers. Overall, I really have a great fulltime job with benefits, and it's a great job security I have had for the last 7.5 years. Plus, I couldn't have asked for a great team of co-workers to work with. We are so much like family. There are times we drive one another absolutely nuts, but we are still there and care about one another. I am lucky. I am also thankful to have gotten a part-time job for supplemental pay to save up money for my university classes in the Spring 2008 (they money is then rolled over until I graduate and will get it back, providing I pass all my classes).
-And, last but not least.....I am thankful to have Sitcoms Online and have gotten to know so many of you here. Some of you can drive me absolutely nuts when you don't really want to talk to me (via IMs), but I guess that means you are all like family, too. ;)

First and foremost I'm thankful for God, because without him I wouldn't be here...I've truely been blessed to have the belief in him that I do.
I'm also thankful for my family and my friends, and that they put up with me cause I can be hard to live with sometimes...They've also all been fairly healthy this year, which I'm extremely grateful for.
Beyond that, there's countless things I've got to step back and be thankful for, like having a roof over my head, and the fact my family is financially stable...But I can't even begin to go there.
This year has been a pretty darn good one, and I feel like I've really learned a lot about myself and life. It's been a big blessing, and I've got to do some pretty amazing things. I'm extremely grateful for that.
Finally, I'm thankful that dinner is only 3 and a half more hours away.

This holiday season I am thankful for so much. The first half of the year was one of the worst, if not the worst period of my life. Since August though life has been really good to me and I am the happiest I have been in years. That is something I am very greatful for each and everyday. I am greatful for my wonderful new job. Everyday I look forward to going to work. I believe that it gives my life meaning and I really like the people that I work with. I am thankful that God is back in my life. I am also thankful for the support of my family and friends. I only wish that my dog was still here to enjoy all this happiness with me. I miss him and always will. I am greatful though that I got to spend over 11 years with him.

I'm also thankful for Americorps and other service corps. They truly make the world a better place. Americorps changed my life in more ways than even I realize. My gratitude can never be fully expressed.
Another shout out to my dad. I'm thankful that he supported the hardest decision of my life: to stay in Austin. He had to go up against my mom, as she was not quite ready to let go. I hated to say no to her, but I really wanted to stay living on my own. My dad supported my decision, when it counted. Thanks.
I miss him. I'm honored to have had 22 years with him as my father.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dog. To many people, a dog is a
member of the family. In my case, my dog IS my family. I can't imagine my
life without her. She's a 6-year-old Dachshund, and I love her very much.
Each and every dog that I have had was unique and had an individual
personality. Cherish the memories, my friend, for memory is one gift from
God that even death cannot take away.

. God is with me each time I get behind the wheel. And, boy, would I be lost without that! I've never lost my gratitude.
I am thankful for that too. Just about 5 weeks ago I was on my way to work and this is about 4:50 in the morning before sunrise and I was just about a 4th of a mile from my house driving and I went over this hill and right over the hill was a horse standing in the middle of the road and I didn't have time to slow down or nothing and I hit the horse. Lucky I had my seat belt on so I didn't get hurt because the horse hit the windshield but it didn't come through it. My car did go in the ditch thankfully it didn't flip. The horse died but I came out of the wreck with just a couple scraps on my hands otherwise I was fine so god was watching out for me that day because I could of easily been killed. So I thank him so much for saving me from dying, not that I don't want to die and go to heaven It's just I would like to get married and have kids before I die.
So I am thankful to God for his redemption and all of his blessings he bestows on us. Also I am thankful he gave his son to die for our sins so we could have a second chance to go to heaven even thought we don't deserve it.
I am thankful for my family even when there annoying
I am thankful my brother and sister-in-law were finally able to get pregnant and with twins
My Boyfriend- He is such a good caring and descent guy with good morals. He would never do anything to hurt me.
For my friends- They are a wonderful group of people I always feel safe when I am with them because they would never make me do anything I don't want to do
My Job- It came along at the right time and it's so convenient I work from 5 am to 2 pm and it's only 5 miles from where I live and I get good benefits
Sitcoms- I love coming here posting and just reading your guys posts. It's allot of fun seeing your guy's thoughts and views on the subject discussed on here. I also feel safe posting on here because you guys are really nice people to talk to about different things and if we have any questions you guys are nice enough to answer them and help us out if we have any problems or need to know stuff.
I am also thankful for people like Lisa Whelchel who take time to go out and teach people about God's word. I know I should do that but I get pretty nervous talking in front of crowds.
I am also thankful for my Bible study group- Because all of them are my friends and it's nice to have a group of people around my age to discuss biblical things with.
