You got to agree that when Dan and Roseanne are trying to make dj decide between playing the guitar and football, that it is simular to the I Love Lucy episode "little ricky learns to play the drums" you can tell that Roseanne was a fan of ILL. :)

I always thought the same thing. Actually, for some reason, the entire episode reminded me of watching Leave it to Beaver for some reason (probably the corny 50's transitional music)

Also remeinds me of Andy Griffith show where Opie has to decide if playing the Piano is more important than playing football. Opie changes is Piano lesson to mornings to solve his problem.

Could be the Brady Bunch where Peter has to decide if Glee Club is more important than football. Decon Jones said it is not a fairy to be in the Glee Club I was in the Glee Club in school Decon says and alot of boys from the football team join the Glee Club.

That was one of my faves as well. I loved the song "That's our Rosey". Becky was funny to me with her "Mother, I'll just die if he doesn't pin me". My other favorite was the black Mr. Powell and his son "Colin" coming to the white side of town to pick up some items from Rosey's place. My favorite line from Mr. Powell was "black people always happy when they singin'. LOL. I loved the entire episode.

Wasn't the Colin Powell scene edited for syndication? I hadn't remembered seeing it before when I watched the episode on the DVD.

I also loved those fake commercials they did, especially the last one, with the cleaning guy.
