Sounds good! Is this the last new episode then, or is there still 1 more after that?

I couldn't believe BTY rose a million viewers last episode from the previous week. Let's hope it'll rise even more this week!

There is one more after this one. Let's hope they can continue the momentum.

It sounds like it's going to be really good! Looking at those screen caps, it looks like there's going to be a sad moment between Chuck and Kelly. I'm looking forward to that. And those animal costumes look hilarious!

I wasn't aware the ratings rose that much last week. That's great news. I hope we get the same amount, if not more viewers this week. Hopefully FOX will start airing the show from the beginning, once the new episodes run out. I want as many people as possible to "discover" the show.

So it was a repeat of the second episode. I watched it, and I still think that's the funniest episode so far (Fish Story).

I was pissed that FOX aired a repeat last week. Does anyone know what's going on this week? Will there be a new episode to closeout November sweeps? :(

From what I understand, there will be no new episodes in November. As a matter of fact, I don't think they are even airing a repeat next week.

This turned out to be a very good episode, thanks to the segments with Gary at the Antrocon festival. I was laughing out loud the whole time.

Gary is really a great character!

Another homerun! I really enjoy this show. Gary, hilarious. Chuck making gay remarks to Ryan, lol. What I actually enjoyed the most was the conversation that Chuck had with Marsh. It was nice seeing that side of both of them, particulary Marsh. The way Chuck reacted to Kelly dating shows where they're heading. He obviously has some unresolved feelings for Kelly.

Yeah, good point, it was refreshing to see Marsh in a non comedic role there for awhile. I also loved his sign offs. They made absolutely no sense.

I liked Tuesday's episode a little more, but this one was still good. I love all the gags each character gets in the episode. Gary's turned out to be hilarious. Marsh's signoffs were also funny. Again, this episode had an emotional twist to it, which made it really different from Tuesday's episode. I enjoyed it.

You can definitely tell someone will be finding out about what's going on between Chuck and Kelly by the end of the season. Right now, I'm predicting Marsh, based on him almost finding out in this episode. I'm looking forward to see what happens next!

'Business or Pleasure' Recap

Original Air Date: February 27, 2008

While the Channel Nine news team is out to dinner at a nice restaurant, Channel Eight News’ charismatic new anchorman CRAIG ST. CLAIRE (Guest Star Coby Ryan McLaughlin) comes over to introduce himself and make small talk. This is a big deal because the newsman is the hottest new personality in town — everyone’s discussing how good-looking he is.

Not surprisingly, MONTANA flirts with Craig relentlessly, but he seems most interested in KELLY. She offers to give him some insider local tips because he’s not from Pittsburgh, and he agrees and asks her out for a drink later. Blushing and giggling, Kelly accepts.

Earlier, CHUCK and MARSH had complained about Craig’s audacity to not wear a tie sometimes, while RYAN just seems thoroughly infatuated with him throughout the episode. As a result, Chuck repeatedly chastises the news director later for acting gay.

Meanwhile, at the 10th anniversary event for Anthrocon, a group of people who wear huge furry animal costumes, a disinterested GARY decides to conduct his interviews by mocking the attendees, who he thinks are all middle-aged virgins dressed up like animals.

The conventioneers manage to get payback later, however, when they accost Gary in the indoor parking lot as he’s preparing to leave. When it’s finally time to do his on-air report, the visibly terrified reporter stands surrounded by the menacing, costume-clad attendees, who make sure he doesn’t say anything rude about them.

Back at the station, Chuck expresses his belief to Kelly that there’s no way Craig can be romantically interested in her. According to him, older men may date younger women for romantic reasons, but it just doesn’t work the other way around. He rationalizes that the situation is all about him — as usual — and Craig is trying to poach Kelly from WURG to stem his show’s popularity.

Chuck’s take on events is soon proven incorrect during a three-way phone call between Craig, Chuck, and Ryan. Craig reveals his co-anchor just renewed her contract, essentially removing the one available position at his station and any motivation to filch an anchor from a rival news team.

Now that Chuck knows Craig is genuinely interested in Kelly, he has to face why he’s so concerned about her love life, especially when Marsh — who suspects Chuck has feelings for Kelly — confronts him. Yet, Chuck still isn’t ready to admit the obvious.

When he returns to their shared office, Chuck finds Kelly prepared to cancel her date with Craig because she’s convinced she’s not only too old for him, but too removed from the dating game. Chuck assures her otherwise by telling her she’s beautiful and quite a catch, and she eventually goes on the date after a little nudging.

Later, Gary sits with a police officer and a sketch artist, trying to describe one of the costumed Anthrocon attendees who threatened him. Of course, since he didn’t actually sees any faces, the descriptions he gives are vague, to say the least.

Great scenes - Gary and his bloopers reel were hysterical. I also loved the scene when Gary was being filmed at the convention and was giving Chuck and Kelly little hidden signs they were trying to kill him-LOL. He really is such an underrated character.
