ks,
That link should take you directly to the article. If not, go to Broadcastingcable.com and click on the 'cable' icon on the left side of the page and from there click on 'online daily' for the article.
Basically, it says that 'The Divison' premiere was the highest rated original cable series premier in over a year. All the advertising Lifetime did for this show seems to have paid off, at least for the premiere episode. Hopefully, the ratings will stay up http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm probably not the only one who hat a helluva time trying to find this article, so here it is its entirety:
Lifetime’s new police drama, The Division, pulled in a 3.1 rating/2.4 million homes on its Sunday, Jan. 7, 9 p.m. debut.
Division drew the largest audience of any basic cable original series premiere in the past year and ranked as Lifetime’s highest-rated original series premiere ever. The second episode, played immediately after the first, scored a 2.4/1.9 million.
The numbers helped to pull Lifetime to No. 1 in primetime among basic-cable networks for the first week of 2001, with an average rating of 2.2/1.7 million households.
Division follows the stories of five female detectives in the San Francisco Police Department.
Thanks Coily and Michele!
I was channel surfing today and caught a new "The Division" promo. I dind't see it all, but the little clip I did see was the L.A. Times, I believe it was, calling McKeon 'funny and real'. I hope this show catches on! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
