article:
The Division: this Lifetime police drama, debuting with back to back episodes sunday, offers a twist on the usual cop show formula: befitting the cable channels target audience, almost all the detectives are women. It doesn't offer much, however, beyond the lack of male bonding and a pretty good cast.
Among the featured players: nancy mckeon, as the promiscuous one, Lela R0chon as the rookie and Bonnie Bedelia (aunt of mulkuy calkin) as the captain of this san francisco crew. But there is a high standard, these days, for cop shows and the situations executive producer, Deborah Joy Levine, cooks up don't feel nearly as natural and true as the ones viewers are accustomed to seeing on NYpd Blue or Law and Order.
This is written by a male critic, so don't put anything into this review.
But i just thought everyone would like to c.

Yes, the critic is male, but he's an idiot. I usually avoid his column like the plaque.

Back in '79 a critic ran "the Facts of Life" into the ground saying it would never make it. We all know what became of that... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Of course, too, these critics are probably only seeing the series premiere episode...we all know how much 'FOL' improved from it's first episode. I hope Lifetime gives this series a chance to develop an audience.
