Love triangles?

What does everyone think of love triangles? I'm thinking of writing a GI fic with a love triangle, but I don't want anyone to be upset by who I made fall in love with whom, so I want to know, love triangles,

I say go for it.....it's your story, you can pair up whomever you like; just make sure the pairings are believeable, don't stick Gilligan with Lovey...THAT might be too much! :lol: Good luck with that ;)

Of course, you should write whatever you like!! If you're going for believability with relation to the actual show and its implications, though, I would say that there are not actually any "triangles" going on but "cheating" in some form--either threatened or transpiring could be believable. Then again, there could be any number of reasons for a
triangle to arise within existing relationships. Good luck!!

Yes, I agree, this fanfiction board is dead. But maybe it is just a little dose of the curare plant and will wake up? It would be nice if someone would write something. I know I seem like a hypocrite because I don't post any fanfiction myself. I have lots of ideas but wouldn't post them because I don't think most of the readers would "get" my view of the characters. In other words, in my view, I'd be writing "in character" but I don't think most readers would see the characters in some of these ways--so what would be the point?

Still, I have some suggestions to liven up the board. Once before I suggested--poetry.
Not everyone feels he can think up a plot or wants to but some nice poetry either about the characters/island or in their own voices could be written. Also, what if we put in some orders for stories. For example, I'd like a story about....whatever. This might spark some authors to write and also take the heat off of them if they feel their story is not so up to par.

I rememeber when I first joined (a year ago exactly party: ) this board was always alive!!! It was really great.

hey, from your posts, I always agree with how you see the characters and I'd love to read any fanfiction of yours or anybody's!! :)
I'm still writing gi fanfic but haven't posted it here in awhile because no one replied/reviewed which was a little disheartening... but I'll give it a try again in hopes we can bring this board back!! :D
As for the poetry, GO FOR IT!!!! I'm not into writing poetry that much, but I do love reading it, and it would be a nice change.
