Great Show

I am fast approaching 40 years old, and I must admit, I haven't seen this show until just recently. I live in Los Angeles and it airs on cable via KVCR the San Bernadino PBS affiliate.

This is a cute, heartwarming show. Not the greatest acting in the world, but it is a show with warmth and good family values. Good luck in finding that in prime-time.

I only wish I had caught the reruns as a youngster.

I discovered O & H 10 years ago when I was in my early 40s. I was taken with my first 8 ep VHS set. And after the second set, I was smitten. Happy viewing! And thanks for the great thread:wave:

I remember watching the episodes first run when I was younger. Watching Rick sing was always a treat. I will admit the last season episodes were not as good as the episodes I consider the best from the mid to late fifties to early sixties.
