Kim Cattrall is glad she turned down a role in TV hit Ugly Betty - even though she has struggled to find work since. The 51-year-old has only made fleeting appearances on the small screen since Sex And The City ended in 2004 - but she is still determined to be choosy about what roles she takes on.

Cattrall says, "I turned down Ugly Betty. It's a fun show, but I don't regret it. I didn't really think it was me."

it would've been interesting to know what that role is, particuarly if it is one of the main characters on the show. if we're talking about either christina- played by ashley jensen or amanda- played by becki newton, NOW that would've been fascinating to read

You mean which role she was offered?
She's 51...I'm thinking either the Wilhelmina or Claire roles.

yeah, perhaps you'd be on the right line. i looked on various websites that had this article and it didn't state what that character was. age-wise, she could've played either of those characters. mind you her version of wilhelmina would've been interesting to watch :)
