Grape Nuts cereal. The rest of my family thinks I'm crazy for loving Grape Nuts, but it's true. Even as a kid, I loved Grape Nuts. :)
It's pretty freaking delicious when you mix it with yogurt, too.

Are there any food items (or beverages) that you like, but, most of your friends or family members utterly despise, or do not understand your fondness for that particular item?
I am madly in love with sushi, the more exotic, the better, but you could EVEN pay my mom a hundred bucks to even to try a roll; also, I love Shredded Wheat cereal, which a lot of people find bland or tasteless, I love it. Another item is grapefruit soda, even as a child, I loved the taste...
I am with your mom on that one sweetie. The thought of putting raw fish in my mouth...:puke: Isn't that unhealthy? We are always hearing abt eating raw fish and raw meat can be deadly for you.
I so love raw onions. The more raw onions I can have on a hamburger or hot dog, the better. My boyfriend thinks that is gross. He says onions should be eaten cooked, not raw. I guess when it comes to onions, I am the same way with you Tara abt your sushi.

Oh no, give me a fresh raw tomato...it gets so yucky when it is cooked.

I don't know how others feel about them, but something tells me that not many adults eat Rice Krispies Treats. Dear Lord, someone save me from myself. Eight to a box, and it's gone in two days. I keep waiting to eat too many, get sick of them and never eat another one again, but I'm not there yet, lol. I discovered them in June. My mother used to make them homemade for us when we were kids. I just put one down to type this. :happyface

Janice, Janice, Janice...you dear sweet soul you. GOD, I WANT TO REACH OUT TO MY COMPUTER AND GRAB THAT TREAT! Those are so damn yummy!!! However, due to certain eating habits in this house, sweets are CONDEMNED AND BANNED FROM OUR HOUSE. My daughter is diabetic, so to not make her feel awful abt not being able to eat sweets like that, we just don't buy them. :( This is great too so my son doesn't get into the habit of eating sweets. BUT!!! that doesn't mean that mommy doesn't buy one little pack at the store for herself, for those craving moments. Tee hee...;)

I can imagine what your glove compartment in your car looks like, if it looks anything like mine. Back in June, when I was really sick from that reaction to an antibiotic, I couldn't get any solid food down. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that ALL I ate for 12 days were those treats, yogurt, and a vanilla shake that Lou bought me everyday. Now, like a person who took pain meds for a real injury, but who still takes them when they don't need them anymore, I CANNOT STOP EATING THOSE TREATS! I need an intervention.
And yeah, three fast bites and they're a fond memory. I don't even bother taking the time to savor the taste. Just down the hatch, and usually onto the next.

 I'm one of those nuts who brushes their teeth after they eat anything. It's probably one of the reasons why I don't eat a lot, lol. Point being, if it wasn't for that, I'd be my dentist's best patient.

I hardly count as an adult, but whenever I grab breakfast at the Fastbreak convenient store while working my pool remodeling job in the summer, my breakfast is always a breakfast sandwich and a rice crispy treat bar. They carry the Kelloggs brand, but I usually grab this other brand they have, because it's a lot more dense, and seems more filling.

I've eaten...hundreds of them. But can I remember what the label says? No. It's some uncommon brand, from a convenient store that I don't believe is part of any major chain. Can't find anything about it on the internet.
The thing is, they're like 2 inches in height, 3 inches wide, and probably about 4 inches in length, roughly. They aren't the easiest to eat, but I think they're better than Kellogg's.

I mentioned this in the other thread, A peanut isn't a nut, It's a legume AKA bean.
Oh, well, I like a lot of beans, so that makes sense. Although it's weird to think of putting a bean on my ice cream.

So, rather than call my boyfriend a "nut" I should call him a "beaner"? ;)

Well, first of all, you should know that I'm a Southerner. We Southerners eat some strange things, lol.
I like Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing on my fried chicken
Fried Bologna
Vienna Sausages
When I was little I would eat mayo sandwitches, two pieces of white bread without the crust covered in Kraft Mayo, YUM!
That's all I can think of at the moment, I'm sure there's more.
