Los Angeles Police officials have deemed disgraced actor Kiefer Sutherland an "inappropriate" choice to honor movie mogul Brian Grazer at a gala benefit this weekend and removed him from the event.

The 24 star was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, while still on probation for another DUI in 2004, on Tuesday morning - and now faces jail. As a result, organizers of an LAPD fundraiser on Saturday have told Sutherland he's no longer welcome at the event.

The actor was scheduled to present an award to producer Grazer for his charity efforts. Sutherland has been replaced by movie maker Ron Howard.

GOOD! I'm glad he was replaced with Ron Howard, who was and is a class act.

I agree! Hollywood should focus more on the positive people and quit rewarding, accepting and sensationalising bad behavior.
