According to the chart of critics, Cavemen and Carpoolers are the worst.
Wow, they could only come up with TWO sitcoms in the best category?
This doesn't look good.

Aliens in America did quite well, so realistically 3 sitcoms - it had a red mark, but lots of 2 thumbs up ... I think it will be a love it or hate it show.
The Big Bang Theory did very well, look at all the two thumbs up and no red mark :D

Yeah everyone is saying Pushing Daisies is the best...I personally agree....it looks so offbeat that it will be awesome. As for Back To You, it personally will have its moments...in my eyes it won't be a laugh riot but it'll have its moments. Big Bang Theory....it could have one or two chuckles but not the best. Cavemen is going to tank and Carpoolers as well.

Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money are the best new shows. Sitcom wise, the pilots for Big Bang and Carpoolers are hilarious to me. Back to You's pilot was just OK, but it will get better I think.
Don't understand why Variety is saying Samantha Who is that bad. It tested very well with viewers and had an enjoyable plotline, but not funny.
But it doesn't matter what they think...ratings matters.

As Carpoolers may be funny, I don't think it's going to connect with viewers. Kind of like what happened to "Help me Help You" last season.

Especially when Cavemen is the lead in the Carpoolers. It sounds funny, and it doesn't sound like something I'd watch. So far the only sitcoms I plan on watching are Samantha Who?, Back to You, and the Big Bang Theory.

I'm really looking forward to Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money.
Back to You has potential. I hope we don't get another 'Til Death (basically, a sitcom with two great sitcom stars that relies on weak scripts).
Samantha Who? could be interesting. I'm watching simply because I like Christina Applegate.
Carpoolers will probably be decent but I can't see it doing well, which will probably be unfortunate.
The Big Bang Theory will be worth checking out.

I'm surprised "Gossip Girl" is at the top of so many lists. I thought it would be a guilty pleasure, that would get old fast (coughs *Desperate Housewives*). I'll be checking this show out.
I'm also interested in "Samantha Who?", "Chuck", and "Pushing Daisies."
On the comedy side of things, I'm looking forward to "Back To You", "Big Bang Theory", and "Aliens In America" (this looks great!).
I also can't wait for "The Bionic Woman". Too bad it didn't make the list. That's my most anticipated new series. And I wonder if ABC's "Big Shots" will be any good.

Bionic Woman will be on my list of shows that will be canned. Life is the show I think will die first. Buffyboy: Big Shots is not bad. Hopefully it will get better.
Solomon you should try Carpoolers, too. It is hilarious. Wacky stuff, but fun. Cavemen is too weird, at least the original pilot, let's see how the new one will be. I should get that soon.
My top 10 new fall show list, based on the pilot episode:
1. Pushing Daisies

Aliens In America looks dumb to me. People are saying "OMG! It's hilarious!" but to me it looks dumb and unfunny. Pushing Daisies looks really good and I maybe--just maybe--may check out Gossip Girl. It's not at 8 I think so that's good. Big Bang Theory looks okay--Back To You has its share of unfunny jokes though--not as bad as Til Death but not fantastic. Samantha Who?--eh.

I am really looking forward to The Big Bang Theory and Samantha Who ?.
I will also give Back To You a chance. I like Kelsey Grammer, but I am not so sure about the show.
And Pavan, this if for you. I will definitely be watching at least the first 2 or 3 episodes of Carpoolers and Cavemen. I do believe in giving shows a chance. Not too optimistic, based on past ABC precedent, but I will definitely try these two.

Pav, you also thought Knight Of Prosperity would be a huge hit. ;)
And a lot people thought the reimagining of Battlestar Galactica would be horrible, and now it's considered one of the best shows ever....The creators of that are the creators of the new Bionic Woman, so I will definately give it a try. And the promos look cool.
I'm glad to hear Big Shots wasn't too bad. I just don't think that timeslot will be good for it. ER and whatever CBS aired in that slot dominated the hour last year.
I won't be watching Private Practice. The pilot episode last year was awful. And from the promos, it just looks like Grey's 2.0. A clone, if you will. I don't think it will be that successful.
Pushing Daisies looks great though. That may be the surprise hit of the year.

Yea and I've been reading on the internet and the Bionic Woman is getting a lot of buzz so it might do better than people think. I can even see it maybe moving to Mondays at 10 if Journeyman flops. I think it's biggest obsticle is the time slot.

I loved the Knights. I never thought it would be a huge hit, but also didn't think it would do bad. It could have done way better if it launched in the fall, but oh well, it was a great show.
As for Thursdays at 10...ER didn't do much last year at all. So, Big Shots has a great chance, especially after Grey's. Without a Trace returns to the slot this year for CBS, but that is a different audience.
Don't be fooled by the back-door Private Practice pilot from last May. Subsequent episodes I hear have come out way better in quality. The "real" first episode is great. It will murder Bionic Woman in the ratings.

It is getting a lot of buzz. I think mondays at 10 would be the best possible timeslot it could get. The show is clearly targeted towards the fanboy audience (which of course Heroes has).

I think ER was NBC's 3rd highest rated show last year (behind Deal or No Deal and Heroes). It gave NBC a ratings boost more during the first half of the season, then the latter though (there was even a thread here about that).
Without A Trace will clearly dominate that slot this year though. (BTW, what was CBS airing there last year, Criminal Minds?)
Private Practice just doesn't look interesting. Then again, niether was Grey's for most of last year. I'll probably get sucked back into Grey's, but I don't think I'll bother with Private Practice.....And the "backdoor pilot" should have been good, since they dedicated 2 whole hours to it. We could have gotten 2 more Grey's episodes instead. Buffy's Marti Noxon is running Private Practice, so I do have faith in it (*somewhat*) but I don't expect too much from it.
