You're right on! Good call! What Donny did for Happy Days in the form of Ralph Malph, R.P. surpassed for Joannie Loves Chachi in the form of BINGO. He had all the right moves. Supercool and hip! Probably was the only character on that very square show that was into Mary Jane, if you know what I mean. And was JLC EVER a square show. But Bingo couldn't save the day. Let's be honest, you put Michael Jordan on the Clippers, you think they'd make the playoffs? Don't think so. The show was that bad; but R.P. is definitely a lost comedic legend. JLC could have very well cost R.P. a career that could have easily put him past the Robin Williams' and Jim Carreys. That's for sure.

Great messages, boys! Robert Pierce IS a comedic legend in the mind of yours' truly! He as Bingo was by all means the ONLY BRIGHT SPOT on that show! If you knew the man's resume in the early-80s, you'd totally understand. He was simply a diamond-in-the-rough. Robert! Oh Robert!! If you can hear this, will you PLEEEEEEEEEASE come back!!!! Like Travolta did. There is a 'pulp fiction' role just WAITING for you! Something to get producers, directors, and writers (the public) to notice you and get you started again. It's not too late! Do it! And to that impersonator on one of those boards, please spare us! Will the REAL Bingo please not show yourself, but just in the public eye COME BACK!!!
Robert Pierce and David Lee Roth, the two coolest dudes ever in the history of the planet!!!!!

Kibb -- My goodness! I haven't been to this board in quite some time -- thank you for your kind comments! By the way, I "am" making a come these days (after taking some time out to write). I recently wrote and acted in a feature film called "The Climb" which is due out in February (in various parts of the country), and in June it will air as a movie-of-the-week. It stars Dabney Coleman, Jason George and Ned Vaughn. You can see a clip of it at my web site: www.robertpierce.com. (http://www.robertpierce.com.) I have also updated some of the videos at my site with some of my more recent acting gigs. Today I was up for a nice role on "The Guardian"...let's hope, by the time of my next visit here, it will be a new addition to my resume. ;-)
Thanks again,
Robert Pierce
"Bingo" (one of my all-time favorite roles)

it is, but DO INDEED look on the bright side, it could have been de niro or meryl streep who could have made that grave mistake by allowin themselves on jlc and look what could have happened to THEIR careers the last 20 yrs, but it DOES SUCK that this guy made the mistake which he made and for that is 4ever CURSED by the hollywood community because of it, anyone who knows anything about comedy should know that this man should b above and beyond all comedy greats of the day but instead is hidden from the public's view by all these hollywood bigwigs out there, it really isn't fair, in these times of turmoil, we need a man like Bingo 2 make us all laugh 2 take our minds off it all, it's such s shame, such a shame
don't blame u folks 4 your opinions
