One time that I had some empathy for Nellie was when Percival was leaving. She was crying and admitted that she loved him. It was good to see Nellie seem more human. :)

I also liked Nellie and Percival together. She became more well-rounded as a character once he came on the scene.

That's what I say. She was a whole different character by then. I also felt bad for her when that damn father-in-law was creating havoc for her and her pregnancy. Harriet was no saint either.

The only times that Nellie was nice was when she was an adult, starting when she had the restaurant named after her. I liked her and Percival together.

Her last season on the show as a regular was when she was more likeable IMO.

Nellie was also pretty nice(well, nicer than usual), when she and Luke Simms, got married(for about 10 minutes).

I liked her in "The Return of Nellie" where Nancy is jealous of Nellie getting all the attention. I love the scene toward the beginning when Nellie arrives and goes to visit Laura. It's funny to watch them hugging and so excited to see one another. It was great how they brought up their "not so friendly" past as well!

so far, I'm in the early part of the series but I do vaguely remember her changing when Percy came on the scene.
In the ep from Season 1, The Quarrel, there was a scene that was kind of poignant between her, Willie and the Ingalls girls.
(But as for right now I just finished watching Bunny #49 Season 3, where Nelly is at her eeevill best. The little stinker! )

Has anyone ever seen Allison Angrim's comedy show "Confessions of a Prairie B****?" When I first heard about this, I thought "Oh that's terrible that she's insulting her show like that but then when I read more about it, it's a show where she shows everyone what a b**** Nellie really was! I bet that is a hystetrical show! I've seen parts of it on Youtube.

Well, Nellie did have a last season where she was nice. She and Laura did not have any dialogue from what I saw, but I totally bought them missing each other when Nelloe came back to the show.

What's it about? I mean, does Alison put down Little House? Or does she say things in her act that would resemble Nellie on Little House?
