*Phone Rings*
Beverly Ann:
(Come down stairs from cleaning, and picks up the phone) Hello?
Mrs.G: Hi Beverly Ann. The girls there yet?
Beverly Ann:No,but they should be here anytime. You know this reminds me of
When you and I hadn't saw each other in a long time
Mrs. G: (interrupts) Yes I know Beverly Ann. I can't wait to see my girls! I have
been home from Africa for 4 years and I haven't even seen any of them. Not
even in a supermarket. I have only talked on the phone.
Beverly Ann: Well Edna, girls do move a part some. Don't be surprised if they
aren't the same as you remember? Like Blair and Jo probably won't fight anymore! I probably
doesn't help that you live back in Wisconsin now.
Mrs. G: Yeah that's true. Bruce and I have decided to move back to Peekskill.
Blair and Jo not fight? That's one thing that will never change Beverly Ann.
Beverly Ann: You never know Edna.
Mrs. G: Well I would love to talk longer, but I will be there in two hours. I can't
wait to see you and my girls!
Beverly Ann: Talk to you soon, Bye Edna. (Hangs up the phone and walks toward the kitchen.)
*Door Bell*
Beverly Ann: (Turns around and hurries to the door anxious of who will be there, and Opens it)
Natalie: (Standing in the doorway with a small child in her arms, and Snake
beside her with his arm around her)
Beverly Ann: Hello Natalie, Snake! Come in Come in! (Says in a surprised voice)
Natalie: (Stands the small child on the ground beside her. So she can take her
coat off. Then takes off her son's coat.)(Hand the coats to Snake.) Tootie will
be here in a few minutes. I talked to Jo this morning she said she has some big news and
she might be a little late.
Snake: (Walks to the closet and hangs up the coats and walks back to where Natalie
is standing)?
Benji: (looks and puts his hand up motioning for his mom to pick him up again)
Snake: So Beverly Ann what do you think of our son Benjamin?
Natalie: We call him Benji for short. (As she picks him up from the floor) Would you
like to hold him?
Beverly Ann: Sure! He is the closest thing I have to a grandson so far. (Laughs)
Natalie: (Hands Beverly Ann Benji)
Beverly Ann: (puts the child on her hip) So can Benji have a little lunch?
Natalie: Sure he can.
Beverly Ann: Come on Banji lets get you something good to eat. (As Beverly Ann walks
to the kitchen.) Snake, Natalie want anything?
Snake: No thanks Beverly Ann
Natalie: Me neither, Thanks.
Beverly Ann: (walks into the kitchen with Benji)
Natalie & Snake:(walks to the couch and sits down)
Natalie: You know this place is just like it was when we all moved out.
Snake: Yeah it looks just like how I remember it.
*Door Bell*
Natalie: (Gets up and walks to the Door and opens it) Tootie!
Tootie: Hi Nat.
Natalie: Where's Jeff? And why didn't you just ride here with Snake and me?
Tootie: Jeff is parking the car. We didn't ride with you guys because we might
stop in New York to pick up a present for Jeff's sister on the way back. (Tootie says
walking into the door and taking off her coat.)
Natalie: Well I guess that is a reasonable excuse! (Laughs)
Jeff: (Walks in there door.) Hey Nat, Snake. Sorry we couldn't ride up with you.
Snake: (walks over to where everyone is) No problem Tootie already told us all about it.
Jeff: Thanks (as him and Tootie walk and hang their coats up in the closet.)
Tootie: So where is Beverly Ann? Has Blair, Jo, and Mrs. G gotten here yet?
Natalie: Beverly Ann is in the kitchen with Benji, and no Blair, Jo, and Mrs.G. hasn't
gotten here. (Walking back to the couch with the rest following.)
Tootie: Well would you and Snake like to come over and have dinner Wednesday?
Natalie: (looks at Snake)
Snake: Sure we would love to.
Jeff: Great.
*Door Bell*
Beverly Ann: (Walks out at the first ring of the bell with Benji on her hip)(opens the door)
Jo: Hey Bev! How ya doing. (Jo says with her hands on her round belly)
Tootie & Nat: JO! (The girls say walking toward Jo with there husbands behind them)
Jo: (Walks in and meets Tootie and Natalie with a hug.) How are you guys! I can't
believe how much you haven't changed! (Laughs)
Natalie: You too! When you due?
Jo: Another 3 weeks!
Tootie: Boy or Girl?
Jo: It's a girl! (Big smiles)
Natalie: No kidding I have a son.
Jo: Yes Nat I know! You told me on the phone! (Looks at the child on Beverly Ann's hip, and smiles.)
Natalie: Yep.But I didn't tell you His name. His name is Benji and he is two. (Looks at Benji
and Smiles)
Jo: Cute name.
Snake & Jeff: (step forward and give Jo a hug)
Jo: Can we please sit now? My feet are killing me!
Tootie: Sure. (Follows Jo to the couch with the others behind her)
Nat: I know how you feel believe me! (Sits)
Snake: And I have heard about it a million times. (Joking)
Nat: (looks at Snake and hits him playfully)
Beverly Ann: (Walks to Nat and puts Benji in her lap) Jo, Would you like anything to drink?
Jo: (sits slowly.) Sure if it isn't any trouble.
Beverly Ann: No trouble at all. What would you like?
Jo: Just a water please.
Natalie: (Taking a baby wipe out of her purse and wipes Benji's face off)
Beverly Ann: Anyone else like anything?
Everyone: No thanks.
Beverly Ann: (Walks out of the room)
Tootie: Wonder where Blair is? It seems like I haven't seen her in ages.
Jo: That's a bad thing? (Kidding) *laughs*
*Door Bell Rings*
Beverly Ann: (Walks into the living room with the ice water and stops and looks
at the girls.) That's either Edna or Blair. (Opens the door)
Beverly Ann: Hi Blair!!
Blair: (Walks in and hugs Beverly Ann) Hi Beverly Ann how are you?
Everyone Besides Jo: (Gets up and walks over and greets Blair)(Benji on Nat's hip)
Jo: I see you are fashionably late yet again, Blair. (One Hand resting on her stomach)
Sorry I can't get up. *Laughs* (looks down)
Blair: Nonsense, Jo, I had to drop Bailey off with my mother.
Jo: Yeah uh-huh Sure! *Laughs*
Blair: (takes off her coat, and looks down to her bulging belly) Guess What, I am having a baby!
Tootie: Wow Blair I would never have noticed.
Blair: Naturally. *Laughs* (Walks over to where Jo is sitting and sits) I am so tired
and my feet hurt!
Jo: Hey me too. finally we have something in common.. (laughs)
Beverly Ann: (gives Jo her ice water)
Jo: Thanks
Natalie: So don't you have a husband?
Blair: Sure he is parking the car. Jonathan wanted to stay with him.
Beverly Ann: Jonathan?
Blair: Oh I am sorry. Jonathan is my son he is going to be 3 in 7 days.
*Knocking at the door*
Snake: I'll get that for you ladies. (Walks over and opens the door to Ben (the handyman
from the Florida beach house) and Jonathan
Blair: (looks over her shoulder) Hi Darling.
Ben: (puts Jonathan down) Says Hi to everyone and takes Jonathan and his coat off.
Jonathan: Mommy! (Runs to Blair)
Blair: (puts him in her lap.) Hi honey how was parking the car with Daddy?
Jonathan: Good. (looks around the looks to the ground and put his finger in his mouth)
Natalie: Ben! Is that really you? (walks over and hugs him)
Jo: I never would have thought you and Blair! Not that it's a bad thing. Don't get me wrong!
Blair: (Blair introduces Jonathan to the girls) Oh, Honey..This is Auntie Jo(points at Jo.
Jo smiles) Auntie Tootie and Uncle Jeff.(They wave)Auntie Natalie and Uncle Snake, and
Great Auntie Be (gets interrupted)
Jonathan: Snake!? (Says in a little voice!)
Jo: *smirks* Yep, That's Blair's baby alright!
Blair: (looks at Jo) Yes honey Snake..Anyways and Great Aunt Beverly Ann.
Natalie: Well sorry to spoil everything,but I have a baby almost falling asleep in my lap.
I think I will take him up stairs.(Starts to stand up)
Jo: Don't I wish this baby would fall asleep. (Rubs her belly) She has been kicking all
day, and I mean Hard!
Tootie: I will go with you Nat.
Jo: Me too if someone would help me up. (Looks around for volunteers)
Snake: (Walks over and helps her up) There you go.
Jo: Thanks a lot! (Puts a hand on her back and walks behind Tootie and Nat) Wanna Come Blair?
Blair: Sure I don't think this little man can stay up much longer neither or he will get grumpy!
Ben: (Helps Blair up)
Blair: Thanks Hon (Gives him a kiss)
Jo: Aww isn't that sweet. (kick)Ooh, I think this kid will have a profession in Soccer.
Blair: (bends down to pick up Jonathan.)
Tootie: Blair I will get him.. (Walks back to where Blair is and picks up Jonathan.. (Smiles)
Blair: Thanks Tootie (Puts her hand on her back like Jo and starts walking toward the stairs
to there old room.
Natalie: (Looks to her right at all the guys standing there looking at the girls leave the room.)
Why don't you guys stay in the living room and Watch that Football game on TV.
Jeff: What football game?
Jo: Find one.. (laughs and walks up the stairs)
Girls:(Vanish into the hallway)
Beverly Ann: (Walks out) Where's the girls?
Guys: Upstairs
Jeff: Having 'girly' talk! *laughs*
Beverly Ann : Oh I see..I wouldn't want to bother them they have so much catching up to
do. I have to start dinner anyways.
Snake: Need any help Beverly Ann?
Beverly Ann: Nope, thanks. Just tell me when Edna arrives.
Snake: Sure!
***UP STAIRS***
Tootie: I am the only one without a baby or a baby on the way. (Looks around while she
is laying Jonathan on the bed. The walking to her old room looking in)
Jo: Tootie don't worry. It isn't all fun and games being pregnant. (Says to Tootie)
Ooh..See there she goes again (Refurring to the kick)(Sits down gently on her old bed.)
Blair: She is taking after you already, Jo. Already beating people up! (Giggles while
tucking Jonathan in)
Natalie: Mind if I put Benji beside Jon?
Blair: Sure.
Natalie: (puts Benjamin beside Jonathan and tucks him in half asleep)
Jo: And I suppose your baby doesn't kick hard?
Blair: Gently usually, Like Jonathan here (looks at Jonathan) He didn't start kicking
Very hard a lot until about a day before I had him.
Natalie: Benji Kicked pretty hard all the way through my pregnancy.
Tootie: By the way Blair what are you having? A boy or girl?
Blair: I am having a little girl this time.
Jo: Well I guess Nat and I have active babies. No surprise though. Blair was never into
Exercising! (Giggle)
Tootie: You both have beautiful sons you two. (smiles) It is so weird how everything changes
..It feels like we are still living here with Mrs. G. and just are baby-sitting.
Blair: If this is baby-sitting I need to be paid for overtime.
Jo: And storage! (Laughs)
Jo: What is giving birth like? I am getting a little uneasy about it sense it is getting
So close to that time!
Natalie: Well I guess everyone is a little different. I don't mean to scare you, but it is
Living Hell! It's all worth it once you see your baby. What you and your husband made together.
Blair: Definitely! Or you think I would be doing it again? I don't think so! I am not fool
. Once is good enough for me to learn a lesson. (Laughs)
Jo: You got a point Blair. If you made it through and are actually going to do it again
I will make it through just fine.
Tootie: I can't wait to see little babies of your guy's. What suspense! This would make
A great movie!!
Jo: Oh yeah Tootie! Having to big pregnant woman walking around the Television screen would
be so exciting!
Blair: So what happened to Rick?
Jo: Oh, he is on a business trip. He is an IBM Floor Manager.
Blair: Wow a step up for Rick! What about you Jo?
Jo:I am on maternity leave. I am a self-defense teacher.
Tootie: Wow, so you teach people how to defend themselves!
Jo: Yes Tootie that the main idea.
Blair: So what kind of people you teach?
Jo: Oh, Mostly Teenage girls.
Natalie: Well I think that is great. You always wanted to have a positive effect
On peoples lives. That's a good way to do it.
Blair: She sure had an effect on mine. Not sure if it was so positive or not.
Tootie: Blair you know you love Jo face it! (Laughs)
Jo: (gives Blair a toothy grin)
Blair: Ooh, That was pretty weird. (Puts her hands on her belly) She kicked Hard! I
Think Jo's baby is sending her mental messages!
Jo: That's my daughter! (Smiles and rubs her belly)
Natalie: Are you sure you aren't in labor Blair?
Blair: Believe me I will know!
Tootie: You are a few days over due right?
Blair:Yes..but it is no big deal really, I am fine!
Natalie: If you are sure!
Blair: Yes I am sure.
(Knock on the door)
Jo: Who's there? (Says in a rough tone)
Blair: Jo you getting a little grumpy!
Jo:It is just all this kicking. It is getting to my back!
Blair: And you guys were asking 'ME' if I was in labor.
Jo: I am not in Labor! (Snaps)
Blair: Okay
Natalie:Who is there?
Mrs. G: Well, I have homemade cookies.
Tootie: MRS GARRETT!! (Jumps up and runs to the door and opens it)
Mrs. G: TOOTIE! (Hugs her and closes her eyes and opens them to Blair and Jo standing
behind Tootie with bulging belly's and Natalie watching Jo closely not far behind)
Mrs. G: GIRLS! I have missed you so much! You all have changed so much! (Hugs each of them)
So when these babies being born?
Blair: I am 3 days over due.
Jo: I am due in 3 weeks.
Natalie: But Jo is having back pain.
Jo:Natalie I don't need your help. I am fine!
Mrs. G: Just rest Jo..Natalie is only looking out for you.
Jo: I know..(hugs Nat)
Blair: (mouths Mood swings to Mrs. G)
Mrs. G:(laughs and looks past the girls to Blair's bed and runs to it!) Oh babies!!
Who's are they?
Natalie: Benji the one on the right is mine and Snakes son. Did you meet him downstairs?
Mrs. G: Yes Charming young man
Blair: Oh you must be talking about my Ben. (Tosses back hair)
Mrs. G: Nope he distinctly said Snake! Ben was very charming as well Blair, and of
Course Jeff. Where's Rick I've heard so much about? And who is this other baby's parents?
Blair: Jonathan is Ben's and mine. He is two.
Natalie: Benjamin is two as well.
Jo: (sits back down. takes a deep breath.) Rick is on a business trip. He is an IBM Floor
Manager. Besides I am not due for another 3 weeks. (Says under her breath) hopefully not
Any earlier.
Natalie: You do know your first baby sometimes comes early right, Jo?
Jo:Yes I read about that...
Blair: Both my babies were late (shrugs)
Jo: Takes right after their mother. Wants to be fashionably late! (Laughs)
Blair: I suppose (twirls her hair)
Mrs. G: So how about thoughs cookies I brought you guys. (Takes 4 small bags of cookies
Out of her purse, and hands them to the girls)
Jo: Just what I have been craving! (Smiles and takes a bight out of a cookie) Mmm.
These are great, Mrs. G.
Tootie: Yep, You haven't lost the Mrs G. touch!
Natalie: Speaking of Mrs. G where is Bruce?
Mrs. G: He is downstairs with the guys.
Blair: That is a nice place for them all! (Giggles and takes a bight of a cookie)
Natalie: Why don't we all go out somewhere together?
Tootie: Good Idea. Where should we all go?
Blair:(tosses back hair and giggles) I just had one of my (giggles) Brilliant Ideas!
Jo: Oh no brace yourselves. What now Blair? All go out and get our hair bleached?
Tootie and Nat:(laughs)
Mrs. G: And Beverly Ann thought you two would have given up smart mouthing each other...(giggles)
Blair: We can go Shopping!
Tootie: Yeah
Natalie: Good Idea Blair!
Jo: Wait, wait a minute here! I thought you said you were tired and your feet hurt?
Blair: They do, but I have a way to get around that!
Jo: How would you do that Blair?
Blair: Come shopping with us and find out!
Jo:Okay, okay I will come. Only because I need to pick up a few baby outfits and
a new Bra! (Stands up slowly) Before we go I need a little snack and go
to the Bathroom!
Blair: Ditto!
Benji: (wakes up and sits up in bed) Mama..
Natalie: (Walks to Benjamin and puts her arm around him) Hi honey.this is Mrs G.
You can call her..Uhh..(Says to Mrs. G) what you would like to be called?
Mrs. G: I don't know Natalie. Anything you want me to be.
Natalie: This is Grandma G.
Girls:(giggle)
Natalie: Wanna go shopping with us hon?
Benji: (shrugs) Where daddy?
Natalie: He is downstairs. Want me to take you to him?
Benji: (nods and puts his finger in his mouth.)
Natalie: Okay (picks Benjamin up) I'll be right back guys. (Walks out of the room with Benji)
Jo: Mrs. G.?
Mrs G: What Jo. (Walks over to Jo)
Jo: Well. I was wondering (voice drifts away)
Mrs. G: Wondering What, Jo?
Jo: Sense you were like a mother to me ever sense I went to Eastland. I was wondering
If my daughter could call you..Grandma as well.
Mrs. G: Of Couse, Jo! It would be an honor. (Hugs Jo)
Jo: Thanks Mrs. G..(Tear runs down her cheek)
Blair: Can Jonathan and my new daughter call you grandma to if it isn't to much of a
Disposition. I have always though of you as a mother away from home.
Jo: Yeah, You have been there for us through thick and thin.
Tootie: And helped us out with all our problems.
Mrs. G: Yes Blair I will be a grandmother to all your guy's kids if that is what you
all want. I know I will think of them like my Grandchildren. (Tears in her eyes) I can't
Believe you are all growing up and having babies.
Jo: I know what you mean. It is weird for me too. (Looks down to her belly)
Tootie: I was just saying before you came up here that it is like we are just babysitting.
Blair: A little more than babysitting if you ask me! (Giggles)
Mrs. G: I am here for all of you when you need me. Don't forget that!
All of the girls: We won't (hugs her)
Jo: Don't know about you guys, but I am hungry!
Blair: Me too!
Mrs. G: Lets all go downstairs and I will make you all a snack like I used to.
Tootie: Sure Mrs. G.
Mrs. G: Also you guys don't have to call me Mrs. G anymore.
Jo: We know but it is weird to call you Edna. I am going to stick with Mrs. G. If that
Is ok. (Smiles)
Blair: Me too.
Tootie: Me too.
Natalie:(walks in) What are we all agreeing on? (Looks around)
Jo: just we are going to stay calling Mrs. G, Mrs G and not Edna.
Natalie: In that case Me too..(Laughs)
Everyone: (leaves the room heading down stairs)

***Down Stairs***
Tootie: (Walking down the stairs) What you all watching?
Jeff: Just a football game (says without looking at her)
Jo: Well, I see you are all enjoying yourselves! (Laughs)
Blair: Ben honey..Will you keep an eye on Jonathan?
Ben: Sure dear, Where is he?
Blair: Up stairs taking a nap.
Ben: Okay..I will go up there in a few minutes.
Blair: Okay, Us girls are going to have a snack then go shopping.
Ben: Okay
Bruce: Sounds good to me..
Snake: Have a good time
Jeff: Yeah.
Natalie: I am sure we will.
Girls and Mrs. G:(walk to the kitchen)

***Kitchen***
Girls and Mrs. G:(walks in)
Beverly Ann: So how all you girls doing?
Jo: I am doing great. (Eases down into a chair)
Blair: Me too. Besides my feet are killing me. I am going to be glad to get back
down to my normal dress size.
Jo: Well, that shouldn't take long sense you aren't too much bigger from when I see
You last! (Laughs)
Blair: That's a lie..I seen you about a year ago and I was a size 7!
Jo: Blair it was a Joke!
Tootie and Nat:(laughs)
Blair: Oh, well, I knew that!!
Tootie: Sure you did Blair! (Laughs)
Mrs. G: So what you girls Craving!
Jo: Hmm, I just would like a sandwich. In fact I can make it myself. (Starts to stand up)
Mrs. G: No you are already having a hard enough time with that baby sit down.
(Starting the sandwiches)
Jo: (Stand up) Really Mrs. G. She has just been kicking! (Baby kicks) Ooh, Like that.
(Puts her hand on her back) It is fine.
Tootie: Mrs. G is right you should take it easy. I will help her (gets up)
Natalie: Me too. You and Blair rest.
Blair: I have no complain about that. (Smiles)
Jo: Well I do, but I guess she is right. I should take it easy. (Walks to the bathroom)
Mrs. G:(watches Jo walk out of the room) I am sort of worried about Jo. She is having
Pains in her back.
Beverly Ann: So?
Blair: Well that is usually the start of labor. At least it was for me.
Tootie: Well she insists that it is just the baby kicking. (Helping with the sandwiches)
Mrs. G: Yeah, I suppose, but I am going to keep my eye on her.
Beverly Ann: That's a good Idea Edna. (Finishing the last sandwich)
Jo:(walks back into the kitchen) So what you all talking about.
Tootie: Nothing really just chit chatting. (Giggles taking a sandwich to the table)
Jo: Great. This is so good we all get to get together. Sense we have all be talking on
the phone every once and awhile.
Natalie: Yeah it is (brings two sandwiches to the table and sets the plates down in front
of Jo and Blair)
Jo: Thanks Nat!
Blair: Yeah Thanks.
Natalie: No problem. Beverly Ann you have any crackers we can bring in the living room for Benji?
Beverly Ann: Yes I am sure I have some her somewhere. (Looking around in the cabinets)
Tootie: By the way where is Andy?
Beverly Ann: Well he moved out of the house a few years ago. So he could go live in the
dorms at school. He heard there were 'wild' chicks there in his words. (Shrugs)
Everyone:(laughs)
Jo: Typical Andy, I tell ya.
Blair: Well we going to get to see him?
Beverly Ann: Yeah he said he would drop by this afternoon for dinner.(finds crackers)Here
you go Natalie (hands them to Nat)
Natalie: Thanks Beverly Ann. (walks out of the room)
Tootie: I really have missed Andy,and all of you guys!
Jo: Me too.(takes a bite of her sandwich)
Blair: Yeah I remember some great times in this house.
Jo: Yeah remember when Andy asked Tootie to his dance?
Blair: Yeah,That was so cute!
Tootie: I was flattered!
Mrs G: Yep we all have had to great times in this house.
Beverly Ann: That's for sure.
Natalie:(walks back in) Thoughs two boys love crackers (laughs pointing behind her)
Blair: What do you mean to boys. Isn't Jon up stairs sleeping?
Natalie: Nope he is awake sitting by Benjamin on the couch eating crackers.
Tootie: I bet that is so cute.
Blair:Yeah I bet! Jonathan really likes animal cookies. I think I will pick some up
for him while we are out.
Jo: They probably remind him of his mother! (laughs)
Blair: Good one Jo take a stab at me when I am being motherly. Real nice!
Jo: What are friends for? (laughs)
Natalie: So Beverly Ann want to come with us shopping?
Blair: Yeah Beverly Ann!
Beverly Ann: Well I don't know.
Jo: Come on Bev. Get out of the house!
Mrs G: We would love for you to come along with us.
Tootie: Yeah Beverly Ann (walks over and puts her arms around her) Come on!
Beverly Ann: Okay,okay!
Blair: Great than it's settled. (gets up)
Nat and Jo:(gets up)
Tootie:Let's get going!
Blair: Wait wait..I have to visit the ladies room first!
Jo: Me too!
(Jo and Blair walks out of the room talking back and forth)
Tootie: That is so sweet. They acually are getting a long a little better.
Mrs G: Well they are getting older Tootie.
Natalie: Believe me it isn't because they are getting older. I had them over at my house
before I had Benji and they were insulting eachother like they always did.
Tootie: I think the pregnancy is bring them closer.
Beverly Ann: It might be. Finally they are both going through the same thing together.
Mrs G: That might be it..(smiles)
Everyone:(walks out of the room)

***Living Room***
Everyone:(walks in)
Natalie:How you guys doing? (asking the kids)
Benji: (looks at her) Good mommy,These quackers are good.
Tootie:Isn't that darling!?
Mrs G:Adorable.
(Girls gets there coats out of the closet and puts them on)
Blair: (walks in)Jonathan want to go with me or stay with daddy? (looking at her son)
Jonathan:Umm,I will stay with daddy. (goes back eating)
Blair:Okay honey. (kisses him on the forehead. Be a good boy for daddy.

Natalie: How about you Benji?
Benji: I will stay here with daddy and Jon.
Natalie: Okay sweetie. (kisses him on the cheek) Bye Ben honey. (kisses Snake) We will be
back soon)
Mrs G,Tootie,and Blair:(give there husbands a kiss and tell them bye.)
Jo:(walks in and stands back and then looks to the ground. Missing Rick)
Tootie: You okay Jo?
Jo: (looks up fast) Oh,Yeah Fine!
Blair: Well we are going to have to take two cars.
Tootie: We can take mine.
Blair: I will take mine.
Natalie: So that is all settled lets get going.
Jo: fine with me!
(girls all walk out the door)

***Mall***
Everyone:(walks in)
Blair: Oh yeah,Jo this is what I was talking about. (points to wheel chairs)
Jo: I am 'not' using a wheel chair. I will walk thank you!
Blair: Me too..They don't have mechanical ones her..Let's go there you guys (points to a baby
store)
(All of them walk towards the store .)
Blair: (stops when she feels the baby kick) Wow,That was hard..(giggles then starts walking
again)
Jo: See what I mean Blair! Try having a kid do that to you all the time!
Blair: My daughter wouldn't d such a thing (laughs)
Tootie:Uh-huh sure,Blair!
(girls walk past a make-up store)
Sales Men: What beautiful Woman You are. It is rare to see so many beautiful woman all
together.
(They all smile)
Blair: (Stops,giggles and tosses her hair back about to say something)
Jo: (nudges her to keep going) Come on Blair.
Blair:(starts walking again) Why did you do that,JO! I was going to tell the man how nice
he was,and I might have bought something.
Jo: Blair,That is his job!
Blair: You don't see him saying that to everyone.
(just then she hears the man say the same line to a few woman that walked by)
Jo:(looks at Blair) I rest my case!
Mrs G: (laughs to herself) Here we are.
Tootie: (walks in first)
Natalie: (walks to a rack of toddler clothes,and picks a outfit out) Isn't this so cute?
(shows the girls)
Tootie:Adorable!
Beverly Ann: Sometimes I wish I had a baby of my own,but my Andy is so special. Besides I
don't think I could have lived through the giving birth part (laughs)
Jo:(Looks at her with a solumn expression then goes back looking at baby clothes)
Beverly Ann: (whispers to Blair) What did I say?
Blair: She is sort of afraid of giving birth. She will do fine.
Beverly Ann: Oh,I see. (Has a worried look on her face,and goes back looking through clothes)
Blair: Isn't this outfit Adorable?
Jo: Aww,Yeah Blair! Is there another one like that?
Blair: Not that I see,but if I see one I will pick it up for you.
Jo: Thanks. (goes back looking) (baby kicks) Ooh,wow. This child is strong. (smiles)
Mrs G: (looks at her and smiles through her worried face)
(They have been in the store for about a half an hour)
Blair: I need to go to the rest room . Lets ring up and get out of here..
(Everyone pays for what they have)
Everyone: (walks to the bathroom)
Everyone besides Jo and Blair:(stands outside the rest room)

***Rest Room***
Jo:(walks out of the stall to the sinks washes her hands)
Blair: (walks out and washes her hands)
Jo: Ooh,woow! (puts her hand on her back)
Blair: What's wrong,Jo?
Jo: I have a weird pain. (breathes in) I think it is a contraction.
Blair: Calm down. Everything is under control!
Jo: Blair I am scared! I really truely am. More then if have been any time in my life.
Blair: It is okay,Jo. I am here for you.
Jo: What a comforting Feeling (sarcastic)
Blair: First thing we have to do is time the contractions no no get the others..no no time
the contractions (freaking out)
Jo: I will time the contractions,and we both can get the others and go the hospital.
Blair: Okay,Good Idea! (puts her arm around Jo and helps her walk out of the bathroom)

***Mall Hallway***
Mrs G,Nat,Beverly Ann,and Tootie: (All get up from where they are sitting when they see Blair
and Jo walk out of the rest room)
Tootie: What's happening?
Jo: (breathing in an out with her lips sort of puckered) I am having contractions.
Mrs G: How far apart are they?
Jo: I am not sure. I had one in the restroom while I was talking with Blair,and I haven't had
another one yet. I am just bracing myself. (sort of smiles)
Natalie: Well we better get you to the hospital and get checked out.
Jo: Oooh (breathes in and out) They are 11 minutes apart.
Blair: Okay,We can take my car Jo. Mrs G you have had a baby before. Would you like to ride
with me and Jo and help her out,sense I will be driving?
Mrs G: Sure Blair.
Jo: (breathing in an out)

***Car on the way to the hospital***
Mrs G:(in front seat looking back at Jo) It is okay Jo you are doing fine.
Jo: (breathing in and out) Thanks,I just wish Rick was here. He is my coach. (breathing in
and out)
Blair: I'll be your coach,Jo! I have been a coach before any how.
Jo: Any other time I would argue,but that is nice of you Blair.Sure you can be my coach if
Rick doesn't get her in time.
Mrs G: We had Nat,Beverly Ann,and Tootie call him from the mall,You will be fine Jo.
Blair:Yeah,Jo just breathe.
Jo: Here comes another one! Ahh..woooow. Rick is Just a worthless Scum bucket who did this
to me!!(doing her lamas breathing)
Mrs G: (holding her hand)It is okay Jo we are 5 minutes from the hospital.
Blair: Uhh,Oh no.
Jo: (coming out of the contraction still doing her lamas breathing) What Blair? I didn't
really mean that about Rick.
Blair: My water just broke.(worriedly)
Jo: Great now this is just great. (lamas breathing)
Mrs G: Pull over Blair. I'll drive the rest of the way. (most Worried of all)
Blair:(pulls over gets out of the car and gets in the backseat with Jo)
Mrs G:(moves from the passenger's seat to the drivers seat and starts to drive)
Blair: Ooh,here come a contraction (breathing in and out like her private lamas instructor
told her to do weeks before)
Jo: (puts her hand in Blair's and helps her through the contraction and smiles)
Blair:Thanks (says with gritted teeth)
Mrs G:(watches the two girls now woman helping eachother through this crusial time in there
lives,in the reveiw mirror,and Smiles)
Blair:(contraction finishes)
Jo: So I guess this is your way of getting out of being my coach,huh? (smiles)
Blair: (looks at her with a tear coming down her cheek)
Jo: (tears start rolling down her eyes) I am sorry Blair.
Blair: Sorry?
Jo: You have always been a great friend..(wipes her eyes)
Blair: Thanks Jo..you have been too..
Mrs G:(wipes tears from her eyes) How you doing girls? We should be there any minute.
Jo:Good Mrs G..Thanks (smiles at Mrs G. in the review mirror)

***Outside of Hospital***
Mrs G:(pulls up in front of the hospital,and runs in to get two nurses with wheel chairs)
Blair:(looks at Jo) Well looks like we are here. Lets go have these babies.
Jo:(wipes tears from her eyes and lets go of Blair's hand so she can get ready to get out of
the car)
Nurses:(opens the girls doors and helps them into the wheel chairs and wheels them in side by
side.)

***Inside The Hospital***
Nurse:(Looking at Blair) Name?
Blair: Blair Warner/Douglas
Nurse:(Looking at Jo) Name?
Jo: Jo Bonner
Nurse:(Looks at Blair) How far apart are your contractions,Ma'am?
Blair: 6 minutes apart.
Nurse:(Looks at Jo)And you?
Jo: About 9 minutes.
Nurse: As either of your water's broke?
Blair: Mine has.
Nurse:Then you will get the first room. (looks at Jo) You will get a room when one is open
Ma'am.
Jo: (rolls her eyes)
Nurse:(Other Nurse starts to push Blair's wheel chair down the corridor.)
Blair:Wait,Wait a second!
Nurse: What?
Jo:(looks over to Bliar)
Blair: Is there anyway Jo and I can share a room together sense I am supposed to have been
her coach sense her husband is not here. Besides I need a coach aswell.
Nurse:I don't think we can do that.
Blair: Do you know who you are talking to?
Nurse: What does it matter? I can't do that.
Blair: I am Blair Warner,daughter of David Warner of Warner Industries.
Nurse: Sorry Ma'am
Jo:(another contraction/water breaks)
Blair: Well I am forced to have to go to another hospital then. If my friend can't be with
me none of you can neither. (starts to get up knowing the nurse will see it her way)
Nurse:Okay okay. We will arrange it.
Blair:(motions for the nurse that has ahold of Jo's wheelchair to follow hers)

***Waiting Room***
Mrs G:(sitting in a chair)
Nurse:(comes from the delivery room where Jo and Blair are.) Are you Mrs G? The two woman
in there are asking for a Mrs G!?
Mrs G:Sure am. Are they okay?
Nurse:Well scrub in they want you in there with them.
Mrs G: I couldn't (modistly)
Nurse: They would both appreciate it. Besides the Brunette told me if I didn't get you she
was going to get off the bed and I would regret it.
Mrs G:That's Jo alright. Okay I will be right in. (walking behind the nurse)
Tootie,Nat,and Beverly Ann:(walk in)
Beverly Ann:(sees Mrs G walking to the delivery room with the nurse) (says sort of Loud)
Edna is Jo alright?
Mrs G:(turns around and walks real fast to them) Call Blair's husband and her parents!
Tootie:Why,What's happening?
Natalie:Yeah I thought Jo was the one in labor?
Mrs G:She is.They both are! They were asking for me and Jo is threatening the nurses.
Girls:(giggles)

***Room***
Doctor:(looks at Blair) Okay Mrs Warner/Douglas you are dialaited 8 and a half cm. Almost ready to
start pushing. (smiles)
Doctor:(checks Jo and looks at her) Well Mrs Bonner you are not far behind with 8 cm.
Jo: Great! Just what I have been waiting for (lays her head back down on her pillow resting
in between contractions)
Doctor:We will have to bring you to the delivery room once either of you have reached 9and
1/2 cm. That means the baby is ready.
Mrs G:(walks in)
Blair: Mrs G I am glad you are here.
Jo: Yeah me too.(lifting her head and looks at Mrs G then puts it back down)
Blair: Has the others arived yet?
Mrs G: Yes,Blair,They are calling your parents and Ben right now. As for you Jo they
left a message on Ricks cell phone.
Blair: Wow,Rick has a cell phone. Big step up for the man!
Jo: Don't start in on my family Blair! (contraction) Ooh..DAMN RICK UGH THIS IS ALL HIS FAULT!
Blair: (contraction)
Mrs G:(moves a chair in between Blair and Jo's beds. She then sits down and gives each
of them one of her hands)
Jo: (looks at Mrs G with gritted teeth)
Blair:(coming out of her contraction)
Mrs G: They are getting longer huh girls?
Blair: Yes..
Jo:(coming out of the contraction) You are telling me! (smiles sort of)
(couple minutes pass in between contractions)
Doctor:(comes in)(checks Blair) Well Mrs Warner you are dialated to 9 you are almost ready
to go to the delivery room.
Blair: Okay..Not my first time! (trys to put some humor into it so Jo won't get so scared)
Doctor:(walks to Jo and checks her) Mrs Bonner you haven't dialated past 8 cm. (looks at the
baby heart monitor)The babies heartbeat is slowing down.
Mrs G:(looks worried but tries to hide it)
Jo: (sits up) What does that mean!?
Doctor:Slowing down is normal when you are about to give birth . Otherwise That means if it
slows down any more we will have to do a emergency C-section.
Jo: What is wrong with my Daughter? (says angryly)
Doctor: We are going to check Mrs Bonner.
Jo: Yeah you better!
Doctor:(take out the equipment to check the baby. Lifts up Jo's night gown)
Jo: Ehh,I could have done that. You are lucky the blanket was in all the right places..
(trying to get her mind off worrying)
Doctor:Watching the monitor...(looks down shakes head)
Mrs G: Okay enough of this not telling us anything. What is Wrong!
Doctor:The ambylical cord is around the baby's neck. Which is cutting the babys air supply
off. We have to get her out of there.
(calsl for nurses)We have no time to get her to the delivery room. We are forced to have to
do the c-section here!
Jo: What!!
Mrs G: It's okay. The doctors will do everything they can (kisses Jo on the forehead)
Doctor: You can move Mrs Warner out of here..(says to a nurse)
Nurse: Okay Doctor.
Blair: No! I will stay she is my best friend (tears rolling down her cheeks)
Nurse: (Pulls curtain all the way so all Blair can see in the top half of Jo)
Doctor:(comes in with a big needle)
Jo:Where do you think you are putting that?(looks at the needle)
Doctor:In your spine so it will numb you so you can't feel the insitions. (rolls Jo over and
injects the needle)
Doctors:(putting up the curtain right above Jo's belly so she can't see what they are going
to do.
Jo:(looks over at Blair) (looks at Mrs G and whispers something to her)
Mrs G:(nods) I think I can arrange that (gets up and moves her chair to the other side of Jo
and talks to the nurses)
Jo:Thanks Mrs G.
(Doctors are talking to one another)
Doctor: It won't be long now Mrs Bonner. We are now making the first insition.
Jo:(nods)
(two nurses walk over to Blair's bed and Push it where it is like a foot away from Jo's)
Mrs G: Is that what you wanted Jo?
Jo: (smiles) Yes Thank You Mrs G. (looks at Blair) You said you were going to be my coach
,and I said I would be yours. You are not getting out of it that easy!
Blair:(smiles as she gets another contraction)
Jo: (puts her hand over to Blair's) Here squeeze my hand. (smiles)
Blair:(takes her hand) Thanks (squints from the pain)
Mrs G: (smiles)
Doctors: Almost finished Mrs Bonner
Jo:(looks at Blair with tears in her eyes) Thanks for being her with me Blair.(Looks at Mrs G)
You too Mrs G.
Blair:(smiles at Jo) Anytime! Thanks for being here for me too Jo.
Mrs G: My honor Jo.
Jo: (smiles)
Blair: Oooh another contraction! (breathing in and out slowly)
(finish contraction)
Another Doctor:(walks in a checks Blair) You are dialated to 9 and 1/2 Mrs Warner you
are almost ready to start pushing.
Blair:Oh Grand. That means I have to leave Jo right?
Doctor:Well not exactly we probably could do it here. Sense all the doctors are already here.
Blair:Oh thank you doctor..
Doctors:We are getting the baby now Mrs Bonner(cuts the ambylical cord from Jo. and takes
the baby to a little table they set out for the baby and cuts the ambylical cord away from
the baby's neck)
Baby:(starts crying)
Rick:(runs in) Jo honey you alright.
Jo: Yes hon that's our daughter over there.
Rick:(looks at the baby and passes out)
(3 nurses get Rick up and put him on a bed on the other side of Mrs G)
Doctor:Mrs Bonner you have a healthy 7.6 pound daughter(hands the baby to Mrs G so she can
hold her up to Jo sense Jo still not finished with the operation)
Jo: (looks at her daughter and starts crying) She's beautiful! (wipping tears from her eyes)
(puts to fingers to the baby's cheeks)
Mrs G:(puts the baby up to Jo so she can give her daughter a kiss)
Jo:(kisses her daughter on the forehead and looks at Mrs G then to Blair)
Blair:She's absolutely gorgeous Jo! Congratulations!
Jo:Thanks Blair! (smiles and looks back at her daughter in Mrs G's arms)
Doctors:(finish with Jo. Then wash and change then go to Blair's bed)
Jo: Mrs G sense Rick fainted will you go with my daughter to the nursery.
Mrs G: Of couse.(Mrs G leaves with the nurses)
Doctor: Push!!
Blair: (pushing) Aaaah! (tears going down her face)
(end of contraction)
Jo: You are doing a great Job Blair just great!
Blair: (looks at her as she lays her head on the pillow resting before she has to push again.)
Jo:I am here Blair.
Ben:(runs in!)
Blair: How could you do this to me!!!!!
Ben: What a warm welcome! Honey you are doing fine (rubs Blair's forehead)
Blair: What do you care you are so worthless...Aaaah!
(coming out of contraction)
Blair: Sorry honey I love you . I didn't mean that.
(another contraction)
Blair:Aaahhh! (pushing)
Doctor: Stop pushing take a breath.
Blair: (stops pushing and takes a big breath then lets it out slowly)
Doctor: Okay one two three Push!
Blair:(pushes)
Ben:(Blair's other hand)
Doctor:Great Mrs Warner/Douglas one more push then you will see your daughter!
Blair:(pushes)
Baby:(crys)
Doctor: Mr Douglas would you like to cut the ambylical cord?
Ben:Sure! (gets up cuts the amyclical cord) She's beautiful Honey!
Doctor: You two have a healthy baby girl 7.7 pounds. (smiles)
Blair:(smiles leaning back on her pillows)
Jo:(watching Blair in silence)
Doctor:(hands Blair her baby)
Blair:(holding her daughter) She has your nose (looks at Ben and smiles)
Jo: She is absolutely darling Blair.You did a good job.Congratulations Blair,Ben!
Blair:Would you like to hold her,Jo?
Jo: (smiles and nods)
Blair:(hands her daughter to Ben and Ben walks over and puts her in Jo's arms)
Jo:(looks down at the baby)She looks like Bailey did. (tear runs down her cheek)
This is just an emotional day for me. I am now a mother of a small little baby
that I share with someone I truely love. Who passed out on me! (smiles at Rick lieing beside
her on another bed)
Mrs G:(walks pushing a little baby hospital bed with Jo's daughter in it)
Jo:(hands Blair's daughter back to Ben)
Mrs G:(Puts the baby bed in between Blair and Jo's beds so they both can see her. She then
picks up the baby and hands her to Jo)
Jo:(looks down at her very first child) She's beautiful..(starts crying) I have never cried
this much in my life..(wipes tears from her eyes and cheeks)
Rick:(comes to)
Jo:(looks over to Rick) Meet your daughter Honey. (puts her finger in her daughters hand)
And you meet your daddy (looks at Rick with a huge smile on her face and tears rolling
down her cheeks)
Rick:(reaches out and smoothes away the tears from Jo's face and then looks down at his
daughter) (kisses Jo) What do you want to name her Honey?
Jo: I was thinking ..Blaih RoseMarie Bonner.. (looks at Blair and smiles)
Blair:(looks at Jo surprisingly) What?
Jo: You heard me right Blair..I want her name to be Blaih. You were here for me the whole time.
This is your reward. (looks at her daughter)
Mrs G:(smiles glad Blair and Jo are getting along and tears rolling down her cheeks..as she
stands silently)
Ben: Honey what you going to name our daughter.
Blair:(takes her daughter in her arms and looks at her) Bailey Marie Douglas. Bailey after my
baby sister and Marie after ..Jo (smiles and looks at Jo)
Jo:(smiles back)
Rick:(sits on the side of Jo's bed with his arm around Jo)
Mrs G:You girls have done great..I love you both (smiles at Jo and Blair) Thanks to you two
I have two new grand babies to love! (smiles)
**knock on the door**
Mrs G:(walks to the door and opens it)
Standing there with balloons,flowers and cards are..Beverly Ann,Tootie and Jeff,Andy,Bruce
with Jonathan in his arms,and Snake with Benji in his arms.
Natalie:Up for any company?
Tootie:And some good news! (smiles)
Bruce:(puts Jonathan down)
Jonathan:(runs to Ben)
Ben:(Picks Jonathan up) Meet your new baby sister Bailey Marie Douglas.
Jonathan: Douglas is my name!
Everyone:(laughs)
Jo:and meet mine and Rick's daughter Blaih RoseMarie Bonner
Tootie:Did I just here you two right? Blair has Marie for her daughter middle name,and
you have Blaih for your daughters name?! I am trippen!
Rick:Nope you heard right!
Jo: What's the good news Tootie?
Tootie:(walks over to Jeff and puts her arm around him) We're pregnant!
Mrs G: Oooh TOOTIE! Congratulations!(runs over and hugs her)
Blair: Don't you think that will be a little uncomfortable for you both to be pregnant(joking)
Jo: Blair! (laughs) We wish you the best don't we Rick?
Rick:The Very Best!
Blair: Same with us!
Blaih:(starts crying)
Jo: (looks at Blaih then to the to everyone)

I usually do not read fanfics past page one of the board, but I was exploring and found this one on page six. I am so glad I did! This is one of the best reunions I have read. It made me laugh and smile. It was a pleasure to read all the way through. I am not putting down the sad reunions. I read them and enjoy them. I even posted one myself that had some sad moments. Still, it was nice to read a reunion fanfic that makes you think everything turned out okay for these beloved characters. I just thought I should write a response to bump this fanfic back to page one!
