John Goodman will voice the role of larger-than-life folk hero Paul Bunyan in a new animated movie. The star will give the fabled Minnesota giant lumberjack a voice in "Bunyan & Babe," while funnyman Eddie Griffin will play Bunyan's blue ox, Babe.
It's not Goodman's first animated role - his voice also appears in Monsters Inc. and Jerry Seinfeld's new film Bee Movie.

Very cool! I have always enjoyed John Goodman, and this sounds like it'll be a good flick. He does have a good voice for voiceovers - loved him in Monsters Inc. Isn't he also the voice of the Dunkin Donuts commercials?

He will be great as Paul Bunyan. That will be a far cry from the trash he was involved in when voiced Frosty the Snowman in "Frosty Returns."
I can just picture him in that role, it's a perfect fit.
