This piece arises from an idea that Blair n' Jo Rock had a while back and allowed me the chance to develop.

Think thrills, chills and downhills as the Facts crew heads to Aspen for a holiday. The timeline puts the older girls in college.

Here's a snippet from a ski run gone very, very wrong ...

*snip*...The terrain was only getting worse and, truth be told, she was having doubts about their ability to make it to the bottom of the run.

If I'm working this hard, what about Jo? she wondered. The Bronx native had only been skiing for ... what? Six years? She had no doubts as to her friend's stamina or natural athletic ability -- that wasn't the point.

The point was that it was now obvious to Blair that this trail wasn't being used for some reason and here they were flush in the middle of it. What troubled her even more was the realization that they had come so far down the mountain that the only way out was to finish the run. *snip!*

By now, you guys may realize that I dig drama and lots of words! <grin> Watch the board for the installments soon!

I can't wait! I read the subject and I hoped this was about Skiing. If this fan fic is half as good as your previous work, we are all in for a real treat!

OT, I have a sticker on my snowboard that says "Black Diamonds are a girl's best friend". LOL. That always made me think of Blair, cuz she loves her jewels, plus I always got the impression that she was a real avid skiier.

Even though it's just a little snippet, from the looks of it, "Black Diamond" looks like it's going to be another winner. Cant wait to read it!

Glad you guys liked the sign. Actually, I made it myself. If you'd like to use it on a web page or something -- then by all means, copy it and have some fun.

Once you've added it to your web page, if you want to use it in a message (like I did) then you'll need to use the UBB hints for posting images on the board.

OT- Eventually, I hope to have itty bitty icons that represent all the different phases of the show. Like an Eastland patch and the Edna's Edibles sign. The "Over our Heads" one was just too easy and too fun with the way 80s hot pink and turquoise! <Grin>
