Everyday (or just about) since I've registered here in the year 2002, this place has been a fixture in my daily routine. I've gone to other messageboards, trying to find the success I've had here, but this one is one of a kind. This place gives me a chance to talk television, something I can't do in the real world, because most of the people I know, don't like TV. They think I'm a nut, lol. While there's some people that rub me the wrong way, the majority of the people here are good people that I enjoy talking to.

I'll always be greatful to TJ for Sitcoms Online.

I'll never forget when John Ritter died. It was so sad and I wanted to talk about it. Luckily, I was a member here, because we all wanted to talk about it. In fact that whole year 2003 was a rough one (due to all those actors dying). But it was great knowing I could come here and talk about it.

Anyway, this is a great site, JT. :) You have done an amazing job with it. The message boards are a great place for everyone to talk about their favorite shows, the chit chat board has been a great place to get to know some really special people over the years and the photo galleries are second to none.

I first came here just to find information about Barney Miller and ended up meeting some pretty special people on this site. I know, I am far from being the perfect member of this board, (for which I am sure, I have offended people over the years with my off colored sense of humor); but this site ROCKS, it really does:)

There are countless message boards about virtually anything. I never considered posting on any of them and still don't. Well, I register on imdb about a year ago, but it seemed too impersonal to me; I could never get into it. On the other hand, there was something about SO--and I've mentioned it to other members--I felt this almost instant connection and became what I'd call good friends with several SO members. It's almost as if we know what the other's thinking. I feel that bond--plus many acquaintances. I wouldn't say I'm that frequent a poster; and I don't PM all that much. I pretty much stay on Chit Chat most of the time, but TJ, I feel a part of this 'family', if I can use that word, for it, to me, is very much like a family. There are little spats and squabbles from time to time, but most of the people on SO genuinely care about one another, plus they are intelligent and well-informed on things.

I came to this site during my obsession with Facts of Life. It evolved into the gathering place of friends, at a time when friends were all too few. I needed this site and I learned a lot about myself and especially people and their differences, and prejudices and their love and support.

I've changed a lot in the six years I've been online. I've grown away from the site and returned, many times. But I've never regretted that fateful day when I stumbled upon sitcomsonline.

I wouldn't have met some of my best friends if I hadn't come to this website. We understand that our old thread got deleted for a reason, and it won't happen again.
