Yeah, that's why I don't like Tres Leches cake, it is too wet. Cakes shouldn't be wet. They should be moist.

Yeah those were really good, that was the first time that I've ever had Tostadas like that. Mostly when I make them I just use ground turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados and whatnot. But that was the first ever breakfast Tostada that I've had. I was so stuffed that I didn't eat anything until dinner.

I'm going to get some kind of nice chicken dish near where I work. With some kind of low-cal hot veggie (squash, carrots, cauliflower, etc.) I'm on a diet. Got to take off 20-25 lb.s but I'm doing it slow 3/4 lb or 1lb a week.

So....no Eddie's Sweet Shop for me for a while (see my O&H post). Right now its just Tasty Delight ( a very low cal alternative to ice cream-- a lot of chains in NYC)

Now it's off to work. It was supposed to be my day off--but I have a big report to prepare for my BIG bosses--so I'm gonna go in for 2-3 hrs.

Here in southern Ontario Canada, Krispy Kreme donuts are just a side-line at Wal*mart; they sold well for about a month, then, once the novelty wore off, people returned to Timmys. ( KK donuts are just too sugary for Canadians, I think )

Here in southern Ontario Canada, Krispy Kreme donuts are just a side-line at Wal*mart; they sold well for about a month, then, once the novelty wore off, people returned to Timmys. ( KK donuts are just too sugary for Canadians, I think )
We had a KK here as well. Then one day *poof* they were closed. I never cared for KK and I don't like donuts like that. I prefer cake donuts. Since KK was no longer there, Chik-fi-lla took over and that place is BOOMING!

A few months back, I was very ill due to a severe reaction to an antibiotic. My appetite virtually disappeared. The thought of food would make me sick. I tried Ensure and all those, but they tasted terrible. Finally, my husband brought me home a vanilla ice cream shake every day. I could get that down...and yogurt, and that was it.

You could make shakes in your blender, add some fruit or whatever. It might be a good idea to drink vitamin water too. I didn't eat for 12 days, and ended up in the hospital, severely dehydrated. In this heat, you have to be careful. That's good you're seeing your doctor. Not eating, no good. Good luck and get better.

Well, I've been drinking vitamin water, that's what I drink while I'm running every morning. I try to eat yogurt, but my mom and my grandma told me not to eat any dairy for a while because it might sour on my stomach since it's been upset. So I've been trying to hold my breath and eat as much as I can.

Ok, the reason I ask is because we had one here. It had the original A&W sign and look. Well, the food is DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME. Only the rootbeer. Oh...yeah, I never thought of that...I suppose it would get tiresome to cook at home when you cook all night at work.... I got an idea though, teach your BF how to cook and he can feed you the way you cook for others at work! ;)

Chicken Cesar Salad for dinner
Do you ever buy the Dole or Fresh Express Caesar salad kits? I'll season and grill a boneless chicken breast, then slice it and put in on the salad. It's as good as any restaurant one. :)

Oh yes, the Express salad kits are awesome. I love those. I can't remember the last time I actually bought lettuce for a salad. I do get chicken strips or chicken breasts, slice them up and put them on top. It is yummy.:D

I find that those kits don't have give enough dressing, so I have a bottle of creamy Caesar on hand. I also add black olives and red onion for the hubby. Perdue puts out those 'Short Cuts' -- seasoned and fully-cooked chicken strips, perfect for on top of those salads. Just a quick blast in the microwave. Why, we don't have to do anything.

I have never seen Perdue. Must be on your side of the country only. I do love the products like Perdue that allow a quick zap and voila! instant dinner. You are like me, I too keep a bottle of Creamy Cesar salad dressing bottle for the same reason you gave. I also have to add more croutons. I like crunch!

beachams powders?

For supper I made a 1/4 pound banquet burger but, i used fresh stewing pork sliced thin, instead of the usual back bacon you usually get on a banquet burg. Then I served it on a whole wheat bun with carrot, cellery and cucumber sticks
