Jo: Friday Night... and Blair is actually going to a movie with me, Nat, and Nacy!! Somebody get the book... Blair has just broken a record!
Blair: no... nick had to go to his grandparents or something... and we're a steady couple now...
Nat: Sure Blair!! (smiles) well the movie is R rated... how am i gonna get in?
Jo: nat don't worry!! You look 16!! they won't card or anything anyways...
Nat: you sure? I don't wanna get caught

Tootie: (walks in)

Nat: A movie we're going to see...

Tootie: The girls leaving me out... AGAIN!
Mrs. G: Why don't you make friends your own age?
Tootie: (says glumly) Who'd wanna be friends with me?

Mrs. G: (feels sorry for her, sits down, and reads the paper that is lying on the table)
Anna and Julie: (walk in)
Julie: Hi Mrs. Garrett!!
Mrs. G: (looks back) Oh hi Julie, Anna!! What can I do for you?
Anna: Is tootie here??
Mrs. G: umm yea.... (gets up) she just went upstairs I'll go get her... (leaves)
Blair and Jo: (walk in from differente entrance that Mrs. G left from)

Julie: Blair... Nick said he's sorry that he had to go home to visit our grandparents... but mom said it was his turn...
Blair: oh its ok..
Anna: nick is your brother!! (shocked)

Tootie: oh yea!! (smiles) let's go (starts to walk out)
Mrs. G: tootie... you have to be back for dinner clean up... don't forget!! 6:30!!

Jo: (comes running in)
Mrs. G: Jo...

Mrs. G: Blair why are you pushing Jo to do something she doesn't want to?
Blair: she hasn't done anythign or gone out with any guys since her and eddie broke up...
Mrs. G: Blair... she's not ready!! they just broke up over a month ago... he was her first love.. it'll take some time!!
Blair: well... i'm just trying to get her social life back on track... she'll thank me for it!!

Julie: (sitting on her bed)
Tootie: (sitting on the floor with back against bed that julie is sitting on and looks bummed)
Anna: whats wrong? (sits next to tootie)
Julie: yea! you haven't said a word...
Tootie: well, i am treated like a baby by the girls all the time and... now they won't let me go to a movie with them!!
Anna: I have just the thing!! (gets up and goes to a dresser drawer and pulls out a paper bad and gives it to Julie)
Tootie: what's that??
Julie: (starts to open the paper bad) Oh yea!! (takes a few joints of pot out of the bag)
Tootie: is that what i think it is??
Julie: (hands one to Anna) sure is!!
Anna: (lights up and starts to smoke it) want one??
Julie: (hands one to tootie) yea!! prove that you are grown up!!

Nat: Where's tootie?
Jo: yea!! she's supposed to be here helping us!! she's on probabtion just like that rest of us!!
Blair: that's not fair!! (slams dishes in bucket) we're gonna miss our movie cuz of her!!
Mrs. G: (walks in from kitchen) tootie's still not back?

Jo: mrs. g!! she should be here... we're just as trapped as she is!!

Tootie: (walks in and is high on pot)

Mrs. G: (sits by tooti) why weren't you here to help the girls?
totoie: (keeps looking down) I lost track of time!!
Mrs. G: Tootie...that's soo not liek you... you girls all have a responsibility to be here...
Tootie: (Not listeing)
Mrs. G: Tootie!! Tootie!!
Tootie: (looking down and not listening)
Mrs. G: Tootie! (lifts her head to get her attention and see's that tootie's eyes are all bloodshot) Tootie what's wrong with your eyes??
Totoie: I don't know... It's hard to see them!! (laughs)
Mrs. G: my god tootie!! they're all red!! what happened? (doesn't have a clue or expect anything)
Tootie: hmm.... (acting kinda weird) Don't know!!
Mrs. G: they look awful!!
Tootie: Oh no!! Am i gonna die?? (gets up and walks behing the table past mrs. g)
Mrs. G: (stops tootie and pulls her back) we're not finished here
Tootie: come on!! I have to go to the bathroom!! (kinda bends down) bad!!!
Mrs. G: what's that smell??
Tootie: what smell?? I don't smell a thing!! (laughs)
Mrs. G: it's smoke!!
Tootie: I gotta go to the bathroom!! (runs to the kitchen)
Mrs. G: (follows tootie)

Tootie: (walks in and goes up the stairs)
Mrs. G: (walks in after her and goes to go up the stairs)
Jo: what's with her?
Mrs. G: I don't know, but i'm gonna find out!! (goes upstairs)
Blair: (takes apron off) well, if we wanna get to the movie we'd better go...
Jo: Ok.. (takes apron off)
Nat: I'm worried!! (takes apron off too)
Blair: It'll be fine!! (leaves)
Nat and Jo: (Leave)
---Upstairs in Hallway---
Mrs. G: (in hall standing outside the bathroom door)
Tootie: (walks out holding stomach)
Mrs. G: common! (leads tootie to the girls bedroom)
---Girls' Bedroom---
tootie and Mrs. G: (walk in)
Tootie: (goes on top bunk and lays on stomach)
Mrs. G: Ok.. so what happened that made you miss dinner clean up? (stands by tootie)
Tootie: I was with Anna and Julie you know that!!
Mrs. G: But what made you throw up? and your eyes? (seriously doesn't know or have ANY clue)
Tootie: They had pot... (burris head on the bed and interlocks hands behind head)
Mrs. G: (in total shock) you mean DRUGS!!
Tootie: (hasn't moved head and says... ) yes...
Mrs. G: You didnt!!
Tootie: (sits up) But the girls made me feel left out!! Like i wasn't old enough and... (gets interupted)
Mrs. G: tootie!! that is no excuse!! (shouts)
Tootie Mrs. Garrett!! Please!! No shouting, it hurts my head!!
Mrs. G: Tootie!! (says quieter) marijauna is ILLEGAL... do you know hwat that means? (pauses) it means that if you are caught with it you will peobably get fined... for A LOT of money!!
Tootie: It was fun... it felt good... and it took all my problems away...
Mrs. G: (angry at that last remark) well, I hope it feels good when I tell Mr. Parker... (walks toward the door)
Tootei: (jumps off bed) No Mrs. Garrett!! Don't!! Please!!
Mrs. G: why should i?
Tootie: Cuz i don't wanna be high adn defend myself!! (doesn't know what she is saying becuase she is high)
Mrs. G: I don't belive you!! you come in here.. messed up on drugs and say... it was fun!! (mimcs tootie) it felt good!! (gets serious) well, i'll tell you somethign young lady!! this isn't a joke!! it's a serious matter! now you get your butt back up there (points at the bunk bed) and stay up there!! cuz your grounded until Mr. Parker decides your punishement!!
Tootie: (goes back up on bed)
Mrs. G: (disappointed look on face and leaves)
Tootie: (laughs really hard cuz she thought somethign was funny cuz she is high)

---Mr. Parker's Office----
Mrs. G: (knocks)
Mr. Parker: come in
Mrs. G: (comes in) Mr. parker?
Mr. parker: Edna... what can i do for you? (motions to a chair for her to sit in)
Mrs. G: well, as an employee of this school and a personal confidant in the girls, i feel that it is my responsibiliy to tell you when these girls break the law in some way... and i feel it's also my place to tell you that two girls brought drugs on campus!
Mr. Parker: let me guess.. either marijuana or cocain...
Mrs. G: yes... marijuana...
Mr. Parker: (sighs and grabs a pen and gets ready to write) Ok... what's the names of the two girls?
Mrs. G: Anna Hockington and Julie Peteres...
Mr. Parker: What!! (shocked) they're both straight A students!! I would have NEVER expected that!!
Mrs. G: I know the feeling... (thinks of tootie)
---Later in Girls' Bedroom---
Tootie: (lying on bed)
Blair, Jo, and Nat: (walk in)
Jo: I can't believe it!!
Tootie: (looks up at the girls with tears in eyes and then quickly whips the tears away) what's wrong?
Blair: thanks to you we missed the movie!!
Tootie: look i'm sorry!! But you made me feel liek I wasn't important... the "baby" and i hate that!!
Nat: Well, we couldn't have passed you for 16!!
Tootie: no, but you could have went to a different movie that i could have saw!!
Blair: sorry tootie but... (gets interupted)
Mrs. G: and Mr. Parker: (barge in)
Mrs. G: (shouting at Mr. Parker) You can't do that!! It's against privacy rules and you can't do.... (gets interupted)
Mr. Parker: Mrs. Garrett Please!! (shushes Mrs. Garrett) Tootie... we found marijuana in Anna and Julie's dorm rom...
Tootie: (sits up and looks scared)
Mr. Parker: And they said that you (hesitantly says..) smoked with them... now they were expelled for possesstion of drugs on school grounds, but I have to check to see if you have any drugs to make sure that there is no longer anymore on the campus...
Tootie: (hops down off of the bunk bed and is looking at Mr. Parker kinda weird looking)
Mr. Parker: Where is your stuff??
Tootie: (points at a pair of clothes and a dresser that is hers)
Mr. Parker: (picks up clothes that she was wearing when she was with anna and julie and starts digging through the pockets and pulls out a comb... a few pieces of gun... a little pack of switch matches, and a joint)
Tootie: (sits on Nat's bed and puts head in hands)
Blair and Jo: (look at eachother in shock and Blair mouths the words on my god)
Nat: Oh my god!!! (shocked) Tootie!! You and POT!!
Tootie: (crying) I just.. I just wnated to prove I was older...
Mrs. G: (about to keel over in shock and has to kinda lean on the table and has mouth droped in complete shock)
Jo: I don't believe this... !!
Mr. Parker: Tootie... I suggest you start to pack your things.. you've just been expelled from Eastland school!! (angry) I will call your parents tomorrow and make sure they pick you up by Sunday evening!! (takes the joint and matches and leaves)
Tootie: (has head in hands and is crying)
Everyone: (in TOTAL shock)
Mrs. G: (more shocked than the girls and leaves)
Tootie: (gets up and pulls out a suit case from under the bunk bed and is crying and starts packing)
Blair: I'm in total and utter shock!!!
Jo: Tootie you dork!! What were you thinking!!! How coudl you do that!!! Are you stupid!!!
Tootie: I just wanted to prove I was older!! (looks up at the other girls with tears running down her face)
Nat: Stupid!! Stupid!! STUPID!!! What the heck tootie!! DRUGS!! are you crazy!!
Tootie: No!! it was better than being stuck here with you guys!! You know i'm glad that I'm expelled!!! Now i can go to the same school as Anna and Julie and we'll still get high... this isnt' gonna change me!! It isn't!! (starts shedding more tears and is sobbing and packing)

Mrs. G: Mr. Parker... Please...
Mr. parker: Mrs. Garrett!! It is our job to get rid of the girls who break the law, the school rules, and endanger the lives of other students!!
Mrs. G: Mr. Parker!! She just tried it!! she didn't become a drug dealer!! (shouts)
Mr. Parker: Its STILL wrong!!
Mrs. G: I know it is... but PLEASE!!
Mr. Parker: she is still on probation... what else do you wnat me to do?
Mrs. G: let her stay!! you and I BOTH know that this (points to the joint) isn't tootie at all!! She's a good girl, student, and friend to these girls... they need her here!! Natalie needs her!! Tootie needs them... you send her out there now.. she's just gonna be around drugs more often and now have tried it and THINKING it's ok... she'll keep doing it... and soon.. she's lying in a gutter...!! (over exagerates)
Mr. Parker: Edna... calm down...
Mrs. G: look... the reason she did this was to prove to the girls that she is older becuase they've been excluding her a lot lately... what do you expect her to do?
Mr. Parker: but she needs will power!! The power to say NO I don't do that! without that... she will always give into peer pressure... which is pointless for me to let her stay here...
Mrs. G: Please!! Let her stay!! I care for her like she is my own daughter... and i wnat her to stay here so i can help her grow and learn to use her will power!! Please... She will never make it out there without completing Eastland!! She has realized her mistakes and lives with them...
Mr. Parker: (thinks)

Tootie: ya... kinda... I mean.. i'm gonna miss you... but I deserve it... I was stupid... I'm just still kinda in the clouds... I don't know what I'm saying... forgive me nat?
Nat: Of course!! (hugs tootie)
Tootie: (hugs back) I'm gonna miss you so much!! what will i do without you? I'll probably say yes everytime somebody offers me drugs... Oh my gosh!! what if i become an adict!! what if i can't stop!! and I die!! and I go to he... (gets interupted)
Nat: Tootie!!! (shouts) Calm down!!
Tootie: (still crying goes back to packing)
Mrs. G: (walks in) Tootie...
Tootie: (turns around) yea... (has tears running down face)
Mrs. G: I just convinced Mr. Parker to let you stay...

Mrs. G: BUT you better not make 1 more mistake or you're outta here!!

Mrs. G: yes... but you're going to have to go to his office tomorrow morning and you're calling your parents and telling them whats happened and then you have to help all the teachers and staff out with wahtever they want for 2 months...
Tootie: (gives Mrs. G a HUGE hug) Thank you!! thank you!!!
Mrs. G: (you're welcome) I only did it cuz i don't want you out in the world not knowing how to say NO!! Tootie I know you were kinda curious to what it was liek to do drugs and you were mad at the girls and all the conditions seemed right but is that really what you wanna do every friday night? Tootie: To tell you the truth it was seriously fun... everything was cool and all weird and i felt liek i was floating on a cloud...

Tootie: No... I'm serious!! But i don't think it's somethign I'd wanna do every night...

Jo: (comes running in)
Mrs. G: Jo...
Blair: (comes running in after Jo) Jo!! why'd you leave!!
Jo: You're not gonna try to fix me up with these cake boys!!
Blair: why not? you could use a social life!
Jo: oh yea... why don't I just go on a date with this guy and we'll make out in teh back seat of his bycicle!!
Blair: he doesn't have a bike... he has a car!!

Nancy and John: (walk in)
Nancy: Jo... John has something to ask you... (pushes him forward) go ahead say it!!

Blair: She wants to just ask her tomorrow... k?
John: ok... well, i gotta be heading back... i'll call tomorrow (leaves)

Mrs. G: Blair why are you pushing Jo to do something she doesn't want to?
Blair: she hasn't done anythign or gone out with any guys since her and eddie broke up...
Mrs. G: Blair... she's not ready!! they just broke up over a month ago... he was her first love.. it'll take some time!!
Blair: well... i'm just trying to get her social life back on track... she'll thank me for it!!
---Julie and Anna's Dorm Room---
Julie: (sitting on her bed)
Tootie: (sitting on the floor with back against bed that julie is sitting on and looks bummed)
Anna: whats wrong? (sits next to tootie)
Julie: yea! you haven't said a word...
Tootie: well, i am treated like a baby by the girls all the time and... now they won't let me go to a movie with them!!
Anna: I have just the thing!! (gets up and goes to a dresser drawer and pulls out a paper bad and gives it to Julie)
Tootie: what's that??
Julie: (starts to open the paper bad) Oh yea!! (takes a few joints of pot out of the bag)
Tootie: is that what i think it is??
Julie: (hands one to Anna) sure is!!
Anna: (lights up and starts to smoke it) want one??
Julie: (hands one to tootie) yea!! prove that you are grown up!!
Tootie: well... (takes it and looks at it)
Anna: come on totoie!! (lights a lighter infront of her so she can light the joint)
Julie: come on!! it will take your problems away!! (snaps) just like that!!
Tootie: (snaps) just liek that??
Anna: yea...
Tootie: (puts the joint in mouth and moves closer to the flame)

Blair, Jo, and Nat: (cleaning up dishes and tables)
Nat: Where's tootie?
Jo: yea!! she's supposed to be here helping us!! she's on probabtion just like that rest of us!!
Blair: that's not fair!! (slams dishes in bucket) we're gonna miss our movie cuz of her!!
Mrs. G: (walks in from kitchen) tootie's still not back?
Nat: No!!
Jo: mrs. g!! she should be here... we're just as trapped as she is!!
Mrs. G: she'll be punished... don't worry about it...
Tootie: (walks in and is high on pot)
Nat: finally!!
Tootie: finally what?? (leans on a table)
Mrs. G: tootie... are you ok??
Tootie: sure!! I'm just fine!! (sits down)
Mrs. G: (walks closer to tootie) are you sure??
Tootie: (snaps back) yes!!
Mrs. G: girls... go bring the dishes into the kitchen... tootie and I have to talk...
Jo: You know... you're really getting to be a pest!! (leaves)
Blair: no kidding!! cuz of you we'll probably miss our movie!! (follows jo)
Nat: I love ya, but you gotta pay your dues!! (leaves too)
Mrs. G: (sits by tooti) why weren't you here to help the girls?
totoie: (keeps looking down) I lost track of time!!
Mrs. G: Tootie...that's soo not liek you... you girls all have a responsibility to be here...
Tootie: (Not listeing)
Mrs. G: Tootie!! Tootie!!
Tootie: (looking down and not listening)
Mrs. G: Tootie! (lifts her head to get her attention and see's that tootie's eyes are all bloodshot) Tootie what's wrong with your eyes??
Totoie: I don't know... It's hard to see them!! (laughs)
Mrs. G: my god tootie!! they're all red!! what happened? (doesn't have a clue or expect anything)
Tootie: hmm.... (acting kinda weird) Don't know!!
Mrs. G: they look awful!!
Tootie: Oh no!! Am i gonna die?? (gets up and walks behing the table past mrs. g)
Mrs. G: (stops tootie and pulls her back) we're not finished here
Tootie: come on!! I have to go to the bathroom!! (kinda bends down) bad!!!
Mrs. G: what's that smell??
Tootie: what smell?? I don't smell a thing!! (laughs)
Mrs. G: it's smoke!!
Tootie: I gotta go to the bathroom!! (runs to the kitchen)
Mrs. G: (follows tootie)

Tootie: (walks in and goes up the stairs)
Mrs. G: (walks in after her and goes to go up the stairs)
Jo: what's with her?
Mrs. G: I don't know, but i'm gonna find out!! (goes upstairs)
Blair: (takes apron off) well, if we wanna get to the movie we'd better go...
Jo: Ok.. (takes apron off)
Nat: I'm worried!! (takes apron off too)
Blair: It'll be fine!! (leaves)
Nat and Jo: (Leave)
---Upstairs in Hallway---
Mrs. G: (in hall standing outside the bathroom door)
Tootie: (walks out holding stomach)
Mrs. G: common! (leads tootie to the girls bedroom)
---Girls' Bedroom---
tootie and Mrs. G: (walk in)
Tootie: (goes on top bunk and lays on stomach)
Mrs. G: Ok.. so what happened that made you miss dinner clean up? (stands by tootie)
Tootie: I was with Anna and Julie you know that!!
Mrs. G: But what made you throw up? and your eyes? (seriously doesn't know or have ANY clue)
Tootie: They had pot... (burris head on the bed and interlocks hands behind head)
Mrs. G: (in total shock) you mean DRUGS!!
Tootie: (hasn't moved head and says... ) yes...
Mrs. G: You didnt!!
Tootie: (sits up) But the girls made me feel left out!! Like i wasn't old enough and... (gets interupted)
Mrs. G: tootie!! that is no excuse!! (shouts)
Tootie Mrs. Garrett!! Please!! No shouting, it hurts my head!!
Mrs. G: Tootie!! (says quieter) marijauna is ILLEGAL... do you know hwat that means? (pauses) it means that if you are caught with it you will peobably get fined... for A LOT of money!!
Tootie: It was fun... it felt good... and it took all my problems away...
Mrs. G: (angry at that last remark) well, I hope it feels good when I tell Mr. Parker... (walks toward the door)
Tootei: (jumps off bed) No Mrs. Garrett!! Don't!! Please!!
Mrs. G: why should i?
Tootie: Cuz i don't wanna be high adn defend myself!! (doesn't know what she is saying becuase she is high)
Mrs. G: I don't belive you!! you come in here.. messed up on drugs and say... it was fun!! (mimcs tootie) it felt good!! (gets serious) well, i'll tell you somethign young lady!! this isn't a joke!! it's a serious matter! now you get your butt back up there (points at the bunk bed) and stay up there!! cuz your grounded until Mr. Parker decides your punishement!!
Tootie: (goes back up on bed)
Mrs. G: (disappointed look on face and leaves)
Tootie: (laughs really hard cuz she thought somethign was funny cuz she is high)

---Mr. Parker's Office----
Mrs. G: (knocks)
Mr. Parker: come in
Mrs. G: (comes in) Mr. parker?
Mr. parker: Edna... what can i do for you? (motions to a chair for her to sit in)
Mrs. G: well, as an employee of this school and a personal confidant in the girls, i feel that it is my responsibiliy to tell you when these girls break the law in some way... and i feel it's also my place to tell you that two girls brought drugs on campus!
Mr. Parker: let me guess.. either marijuana or cocain...
Mrs. G: yes... marijuana...
Mr. Parker: (sighs and grabs a pen and gets ready to write) Ok... what's the names of the two girls?
Mrs. G: Anna Hockington and Julie Peteres...
Mr. Parker: What!! (shocked) they're both straight A students!! I would have NEVER expected that!!
Mrs. G: I know the feeling... (thinks of tootie)
---Later in Girls' Bedroom---
Tootie: (lying on bed)
Blair, Jo, and Nat: (walk in)
Jo: I can't believe it!!
Tootie: (looks up at the girls with tears in eyes and then quickly whips the tears away) what's wrong?
Blair: thanks to you we missed the movie!!
Tootie: look i'm sorry!! But you made me feel liek I wasn't important... the "baby" and i hate that!!
Nat: Well, we couldn't have passed you for 16!!
Tootie: no, but you could have went to a different movie that i could have saw!!
Blair: sorry tootie but... (gets interupted)
Mrs. G: and Mr. Parker: (barge in)
Mrs. G: (shouting at Mr. Parker) You can't do that!! It's against privacy rules and you can't do.... (gets interupted)
Mr. Parker: Mrs. Garrett Please!! (shushes Mrs. Garrett) Tootie... we found marijuana in Anna and Julie's dorm rom...
Tootie: (sits up and looks scared)
Mr. Parker: And they said that you (hesitantly says..) smoked with them... now they were expelled for possesstion of drugs on school grounds, but I have to check to see if you have any drugs to make sure that there is no longer anymore on the campus...
Tootie: (hops down off of the bunk bed and is looking at Mr. Parker kinda weird looking)
Mr. Parker: Where is your stuff??
Tootie: (points at a pair of clothes and a dresser that is hers)
Mr. Parker: (picks up clothes that she was wearing when she was with anna and julie and starts digging through the pockets and pulls out a comb... a few pieces of gun... a little pack of switch matches, and a joint)
Tootie: (sits on Nat's bed and puts head in hands)
Blair and Jo: (look at eachother in shock and Blair mouths the words on my god)
Nat: Oh my god!!! (shocked) Tootie!! You and POT!!
Tootie: (crying) I just.. I just wnated to prove I was older...
Mrs. G: (about to keel over in shock and has to kinda lean on the table and has mouth droped in complete shock)
Jo: I don't believe this... !!
Mr. Parker: Tootie... I suggest you start to pack your things.. you've just been expelled from Eastland school!! (angry) I will call your parents tomorrow and make sure they pick you up by Sunday evening!! (takes the joint and matches and leaves)
Tootie: (has head in hands and is crying)
Everyone: (in TOTAL shock)
Mrs. G: (more shocked than the girls and leaves)
Tootie: (gets up and pulls out a suit case from under the bunk bed and is crying and starts packing)
Blair: I'm in total and utter shock!!!
Jo: Tootie you dork!! What were you thinking!!! How coudl you do that!!! Are you stupid!!!
Tootie: I just wanted to prove I was older!! (looks up at the other girls with tears running down her face)
Nat: Stupid!! Stupid!! STUPID!!! What the heck tootie!! DRUGS!! are you crazy!!
Tootie: No!! it was better than being stuck here with you guys!! You know i'm glad that I'm expelled!!! Now i can go to the same school as Anna and Julie and we'll still get high... this isnt' gonna change me!! It isn't!! (starts shedding more tears and is sobbing and packing)
---Cafeteria---
Mrs. G: Mr. Parker... Please...
Mr. parker: Mrs. Garrett!! It is our job to get rid of the girls who break the law, the school rules, and endanger the lives of other students!!
Mrs. G: Mr. Parker!! She just tried it!! she didn't become a drug dealer!! (shouts)
Mr. Parker: Its STILL wrong!!
Mrs. G: I know it is... but PLEASE!!
Mr. Parker: she is still on probation... what else do you wnat me to do?
Mrs. G: let her stay!! you and I BOTH know that this (points to the joint) isn't tootie at all!! She's a good girl, student, and friend to these girls... they need her here!! Natalie needs her!! Tootie needs them... you send her out there now.. she's just gonna be around drugs more often and now have tried it and THINKING it's ok... she'll keep doing it... and soon.. she's lying in a gutter...!! (over exagerates)
Mr. Parker: Edna... calm down...
Mrs. G: look... the reason she did this was to prove to the girls that she is older becuase they've been excluding her a lot lately... what do you expect her to do?
Mr. Parker: but she needs will power!! The power to say NO I don't do that! without that... she will always give into peer pressure... which is pointless for me to let her stay here...
Mrs. G: Please!! Let her stay!! I care for her like she is my own daughter... and i wnat her to stay here so i can help her grow and learn to use her will power!! Please... She will never make it out there without completing Eastland!! She has realized her mistakes and lives with them...
Mr. Parker: (thinks)
Mrs. G: Please let her fix them!! Have a heart!!
Mr. Parker: (sighs) what a motivational speaker we are!! (jokes kinda but keeps a straight face) what woudl be her punishment IF i let her stay?
Mrs. G: Andy aditional help the teachers or staff needs... she does it... for 2 months...
Mr. Parker: (thinks) well... everythign you said seems lagitimate... and i do have a lot of things she could help with... but I still have to call her parents and tell them...
Mrs. G: so you'll let her stay??
Mr Parker: I guess... BUT Edna... 1 more little mistake and she's outta here!!
Mrs. G: (smiles) thank you Mr. Parker!! thanks you!!
Mr. Parker: Send her to my office first thing in the morning... we'll call her parents and then we'll put her to work as soon as possible!!
Mrs. G: sure thing Mr. Parker!! (leaves to go upstairs)
Mr. Parker: I'm getting too soft!! (leaves)
---Girls' Bedroom----
Tootie: (packing)
Nat: Tootie did you really mean that you were glad you were expelled?
Tootie: ya... kinda... I mean.. i'm gonna miss you... but I deserve it... I was stupid... I'm just still kinda in the clouds... I don't know what I'm saying... forgive me nat?
Nat: Of course!! (hugs tootie)
Tootie: (hugs back) I'm gonna miss you so much!! what will i do without you? I'll probably say yes everytime somebody offers me drugs... Oh my gosh!! what if i become an adict!! what if i can't stop!! and I die!! and I go to he... (gets interupted)
Nat: Tootie!!! (shouts) Calm down!!
Tootie: (still crying goes back to packing)
Mrs. G: (walks in) Tootie...
Tootie: (turns around) yea... (has tears running down face)
Mrs. G: I just convinced Mr. Parker to let you stay...
Tootie: You what?? (turns around again)
Mrs. G: BUT you better not make 1 more mistake or you're outta here!!
Tootie: You got him to let me stay??
Mrs. G: yes... but you're going to have to go to his office tomorrow morning and you're calling your parents and telling them whats happened and then you have to help all the teachers and staff out with wahtever they want for 2 months...
Tootie: (gives Mrs. G a HUGE hug) Thank you!! thank you!!!
Mrs. G: (you're welcome) I only did it cuz i don't want you out in the world not knowing how to say NO!! Tootie I know you were kinda curious to what it was liek to do drugs and you were mad at the girls and all the conditions seemed right but is that really what you wanna do every friday night? Fry you're brain??
Tootie: To tell you the truth it was seriously fun... everything was cool and all weird and i felt liek i was floating on a cloud...
Nat: what cloud? Cloud 9?
Tootie: No... I'm serious!! But i don't think it's somethign I'd wanna do every night...
Mrs. G: Oh.. so you're telling me if you get the chance to do drugs again.. you're gonna??
Tootie: I can't promise you no...
Mrs. G: (worried)
Tootie: But i can say I'm not doing that stuff anytime in teh near future!! Do you know how much it hurts righ here... (puts hands on chest where her lungs are) ouch...
Jo: no!!! (sarcastic)
Tootie: That stuff is powerful!!
Mrs. G: that's why it's ILLEGAL!!
Tootie: that coudl be it!! (jokes around)
Mrs. G: Common...!! (grabs suit case and puts it on the desk/table thing)
Everyone: (takes tootie's stuff out of suit case and hugs eachother and throws the clothes all over the place... kinda liek the end of the New Girl part 2)
