Why don't they make a movie based on Emergency!?

You would think they would.Miami Vice and The Dukes Of Hazard was made into a movie and as I write this Chips is suppose to come out in 2009 and The Six Million Dollar Movie is also being made so why not Emergency?I would love to see a movie based on this show.They would have to get someone to play Gage,Desoda,Cal,Dicks and the other Doctor as well as all the firefighters that was in the show.I think this would be a great movie.What do you all think?

I think it would be way cool but ONLY if they did it right. Way too many old TV show movies tend to be spoofs or just too dumb. I would hate to see E! get tainted by a bad modern day movie.

I'd like if done right but my gut tells me that would be hard to do.
