Family Ties Forever!

I thought it might be nice to have a general avatar thread. If people have ideas or recommendations they want to share for avatars. If they need help finding an avatar, or making an avatar....

I'll start.
I haven't been able to find an avatar I like enough to stick with for more than a few days at a time. I would like to have one for awhile. I used to keep the avatars for much longer periods of time. Anyone know of an avatar that I might like? I've done searches for different images, ie: Family Ties, and other things, but it seems like it's just the same old pictures over and over. I've looked through the photo gallergies here already.

Feel free to share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, questions....

If anyone wants me to make an avatar for here, I'm willing to do it. :D Just PM me the pic[s] you wanna use and any text/colors/effects you want on it. They'll all be 150x150 by default (Unless you state otherwise) and optimized to fit the board's limits.

I have always had an avatar of Hawkeye Pierce, my favorite TV character of all time.
I keep the same picture of Hawkeye for a year, then I find a new one.
I have always wanted to do different avatars of Hawkeye; changing the picture every week or so, but eventually I decided to stick with the same one all year.

Sometimes my choice of hawkeye avatars reflect my mood: one year it's a younger picture of the character, another year it's an older version of the character.

I will never ever replace Hawkeye. Everyone her knows me by that character.

TJL: Kinda similarly, I always use a cycling avitar. I was using a different one (Trapper to your Hawkeye literally), but eventually I found it easier to just use a cycling one that reflected my mood...

...my team's been doing well this year so far (knock on wood), so I am using a pic of their retired team captain.
