Is a Webcam easy to use?

I will be buying one tomorrow and don't want to be aggravated when trying to hook it up once I get back. I think I have everything I need to use the webcam, a laptop with internet access. So is there anything I need to know?

yes it's very easy to use you just gotta install the softwear right then you'll be all set... and you take picture's of yourself has well, its pretty neat I have to buy a new one on my next paycheck..:D Good Luck with it..

I'm sure it wont be that hard to do it gets easy when you get used to using it.:cool:

See if you can get one that comes with different bases... A base so you can rest the 'cam on a hard, flat surface, and another base so you can rest the 'cam on the top of your laptop screen. Solomon, it is really easy. My sister is in Argentinia right now and she has a Mac labtop with a built in web cam on it and through Skype it looks like she is in the next room, it is that clear. We have a little cheapo camera on our end, but it does the job. Doesn't take long to set up at all.
