That's not always the case, though. I re-registered in 2003, and had forgotten that I registered in 2002 until THIS name showed up on the birthday list on my birthday in '03.

And I know of at least one person here who registered in late 2001, but she was actually posting here as early as June of 2000 (-*Forever*-). Also, some people have abandoned their original names in favor of starting anew.

Werd, I'm one of those people. I think I might have re-registered because I didn't know how else to change my name, not to mention I didn't post much under the other one...but I did first post here in like August 2002 and was lurking for months before.
