No one got an edge over the other in that tape. It is pure childish, boorish behavior among Joy, Rosie and Elizabeth. You can't have a debate or an adult conversation abt politics and get all heated and red in the face and so forth.

Because she loves to go down to Miami on weekends and Holidays and since they don't work on Friday's she'll get a 4 day weekend. Plus Kelli's family is in town, they've been on The View for the past 2 days. So it would make sense to take a day off when your in-laws are in town and you'll get a 4 day weekend to boot. No, still not making much sense, considering a huge cause of Rosie's has been that 9/11 is an inside job. Her website is insane with the conspiracy. The nusty group, whose real name is Loose Change, are the guests on the show. And she takes that day off? She could bring the in-laws on the show again. Give them front rows seats why she talks nonsense about 9/11 with her fellow nut-cakers, and be gone by noon, and still have a 3-day weekend with Kel and family...or even still 4, if they're off for Memorial Day.
OR, miss big shot could have the tinfoilers on the following week. I'm sure Babs would accomodate her. Think of those ratings. Now, that makes sense.

It has nothing to do with 9/11, so I don't see why you keep saying that. Her in-laws came into town this week because Rosie threw a big party for Kelli. Kelli's sisters, brothers, mom and dad were on The View in the audience twice this week. Tomorrow is Kelli's Birthday and maybe she wants to spend time with her wife or whatever she is to her. This isn't the first Thursday she has taken off. She said that her Son's Bday is Friday so who knows what all she had planned for this week. Who wouldn't want a 4 day weekend.
Hell, last year I took my daughter Bday off and her Bday fell on a Thursday, and she was just turning 3.

You don't have to explain anything I get what you're talking about. And what I'm saying is that to some people family comes first. If Barbara Streisand was on tomorrow show as a guest and Rosie takes that day off, then I'll say that something was up. So what you're saying isn't making any sense to me.
And no Rosie didn't call the Troops terrorist, I think she's implying to Bush and his administration.

What I don't understand, is why you're making a big deal out of her not working tomorrow/today. And if you watched The View (which I know you say you don‘t), she actually said 655,000 innocent people have been killed. And the fact that innocent people have been killed let alone that many is an absurd amount.
And she talks about the war and 9/11 just about every day on The View, Her Elisabeth and Joy. So today doesn’t make it any different. This isn’t the first fight her and Elisabeth have gotten into.

I explained that in a few posts. I can't spoonfeed you any more than that. Gotta chalk this one up to that you just don't get it.
And if you watched The View (which I know you say you don‘t), she actually said 655,000 innocent people have been killed. And the fact that innocent people have been killed let alone that many is an absurd amount.
Typo on my part, but you knew that. Rosie still inflated the numbers by about 600,000.
And she talks about the war and 9/11 just about every day on The View, Her Elisabeth and Joy. So today doesn’t make it any different. This isn’t the first fight her and Elisabeth have gotten into.
It's plenty different. It's all over the news, the web, talk shows, on and on. The difference this time is that Elisabeth made a complete fool out of Rosie.
And what excuses have I made for her? None at all.
By...what Rosie meant or implied, was etc.... Even if she wasn't talking about the troops, it's still terrible calling your own country a terrorist country. Even a lot of the libs are distancing themselves from Rosie. Chris Matthews did a segment on it, and the libs were ripping her apart.

I can vouch that Rosie did say 655,000 innocent people. On our local entertainment news they played a small part of that video. It is very hard to listen and/or understand when three women are yelling, talking loud, interrupting each other, etc. But she did say that.
I think it is also fair to say that our troops are not the only ones who have been behind any deaths (justified or not). Those Iraqi's have the blood of their own people on their hand, before our troops ever went over there and now.

I don't want to ruffle any feathers but I have to agree with part of her statement she made this past week. Rosie said that Americans would think differently of this war if France or another country came over the US took over were killing innocent moms, dads, babies, children, grandparents. Plus young men and women who are fighting in the war who aren't even 20 yrs old are getting killed. We all would think differently and I think that's the gist of her whole rant. I don't agree with everything she has said but that I do agree with that. So I see her point somewhat.

You and Rosie might have a point except that Saddam was having his own people raped and murdered in the most unimaginable ways. It's not as if we invaded them to kill their civilians. And it's the Iraqi insurgents who are killing most of the civilians in Iraq. And there's no draft here, so when soldiers sign up, they know the risks involved. What part of her statement don't you agree with? She's calling the U.S. terrorrists. A person has to be a hardcore lib moonbat to believe that claptrap.

That still doesn't make it right to kill people who has nothing at all to do with this war. Those people are just living their lives just like you and I. Saddam is dead and has been for a couple months now. What I'm talking about has nothing at all to do with him. People here in the US kill each other every day, Gang do driveby's every day, we are killing each other everyday. It still doesn't give another country the right to come over here and take over and kill innocent people who are in their homes making dinner, kids out side playing games, Men working to provide for their families. When the war first started we were dropping bombs and missles, they don't know where they landed and who all they killed. Innocent people shouldn't have to pay the price of having their loved ones killed who didn't do anything to anyone. They didn’t ask us to go over and take over their land and their property, Looking for the big tall boogie man.
There's always going to be terrorist, we can't capture everyone and stop every crazy loon. There are families who are grooming their children to grow up to become terrorist just for the simple fact that they hate the US. We can't get rid of all the bad apples. People will always hate us
I don't agree with Rosie on her whole 9/11 thing, I don't know what happened to WTC7, I wasn't there. She says that a plane didn't hit it, I know a plane didn't hit it, she thinks that the government had something to do with WTC7.

The only point I see is the one on Rosie's head.
What a dummy for her to claim that 650,000 Iraqis have been killed... it's around 60,000. And much of those were killed by "insurgents." You would think she would do some research before spouting off inaccuracies like a fool!

When he was alive, Saddam funded, supported and harbored terrorists. He also broke the 1991 cease-fire agreement... an agreement which gave the U.S. authority to resume military action if it was broken.
When the war first started we were dropping bombs and missles, they don't know where they landed and who all they killed.
Not true. We (the U.S.) were actually capable of dropping bombs which would go under an overpass and hit it's target leaving the overpass undamaged. Military buildings, too... hitting those and leaving other buildings undamaged. Haven't you ever heard of "smart bombs?"

Funny I remember seeing on CNN where a bomb hit these people house, and the US was Oops sh*t happens. I remember not to long ago a woman and her babies were killed, So I guess sh*t happened again, so it's Our bad that people are growing up without moms and dads.

I didn't say that every single one of the hundreds of thousands of bombs dropped worked perfectly. Targets are always missed at times in every war.
I'm saying that we have the technology of making smart bombs.

BINGO! And in the process people lose mothers, children, fathers grandparents, aunts and uncles. And it's happened way more then just a few times. Those people are poor, it's not like they can pick up and move away from danger.

In case you don't realize, people do get killed in wars.
In Iraq, they were already losing mothers, fathers, etc during Saddam's regime when they were being dragged out of their houses during the night to the torture and rape rooms. And being put into (while still alive) grinding machines.

So you're a conspiracy theorist too. Here you go. Page 5.

WTC 7 Collapse
CLAIM: Seven hours after the two towers fell, the 47-story WTC 7 collapsed. According to 911review.org: "The video clearly shows that it was not a collapse subsequent to a fire, but rather a controlled demolition: amongst the Internet investigators, the jury is in on this one."
FACT: Many conspiracy theorists point to FEMA's preliminary report, which said there was relatively light damage to WTC 7 prior to its collapse. With the benefit of more time and resources, NIST researchers now support the working hypothesis that WTC 7 was far more compromised by falling debris than the FEMA report indicated. "The most important thing we found was that there was, in fact, physical damage to the south face of building 7," NIST's Sunder tells PM. "On about a third of the face to the center and to the bottom--approximately 10 stories--about 25 percent of the depth of the building was scooped out." NIST also discovered previously undocumented damage to WTC 7's upper stories and its southwest corner.
NIST investigators believe a combination of intense fire and severe structural damage contributed to the collapse, though assigning the exact proportion requires more research. But NIST's analysis suggests the fall of WTC 7 was an example of "progressive collapse," a process in which the failure of parts of a structure ultimately creates strains that cause the entire building to come down. Videos (http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/1227842.html?page=5#) of the fall of WTC 7 show cracks, or "kinks," in the building's facade just before the two penthouses disappeared into the structure, one after the other. The entire building fell in on itself, with the slumping east side of the structure pulling down the west side in a diagonal collapse.
According to NIST, there was one primary reason for the building's failure: In an unusual design, the columns near the visible kinks were carrying exceptionally large loads, roughly 2000 sq. ft. of floor area for each floor. "What our preliminary analysis has shown is that if you take out just one column on one of the lower floors," Sunder notes, "it could cause a vertical progression of collapse so that the entire section comes down."
There are two other possible contributing factors still under investigation: First, trusses on the fifth and seventh floors were designed to transfer loads from one set of columns to another. With columns on the south face apparently damaged, high stresses would likely have been communicated to columns on the building's other faces, thereby exceeding their load-bearing capacities.
Second, a fifth-floor fire burned for up to 7 hours. "There was no firefighting in WTC 7," Sunder says. Investigators believe the fire was fed by tanks of diesel fuel that many tenants used to run emergency generators. Most tanks throughout the building were fairly small, but a generator on the fifth floor was connected to a large tank in the basement via a pressurized line. Says Sunder: "Our current working hypothesis is that this pressurized line was supplying fuel [to the fire] for a long period of time."
WTC 7 might have withstood the physical damage it received, or the fire that burned for hours, but those combined factors--along with the building's unusual construction--were enough to set off the chain-reaction collapse.

FIRE STORM: WTC 7 stands amid the rubble of the recently collapsed Twin Towers. Damaged by falling debris, the building then endures a fire that rages for hours. Experts say this combination, not a demolition-style implosion, led to the roofline "kink" that signals WTC 7's progressive collapse.

Right, or that a smaller building next to the towers, that caught fire, can't fall down on its own. Like Rosie says, "It's impossible to melt steel with fire." I wonder what blacksmiths have done for all these years.
