Scrubs" has clinched a seventh-season renewal by the network, sources said.
"Lipstick," based on Candace Bushnell's book, joins previously ordered dramas "The Bionic Woman," "Chuck," "Journeyman" and "Life."
"Lipstick," from NBC Universal TV Studio, stars Lindsay Price, Brooke Shields and Kim Raver as trio of successful professional women in New York.
"Scrubs," from ABC Studios, is said to have been picked up for 18 episodes. The order comes after months of negotiations, due to the high pricetag for the six year-old show.
For a second year in a row, ABC had expressed interest in picking up the quirky medical comedy if NBC passes on it.

Yes, I think so. There is more about it in this thread (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=199819).
I'm glad it's coming back. Scrubs is one of a few shows on TV right now that makes me laugh out loud.

I can't believe its still on. After gettings its lowest rated season ever, NBC continues with the show. For sure, this will be the last season on NBC. Since I watch the show, i really don't care if I miss a new episode, because I know I'll own it on DVD soon, or see it syndication soon, which is probably what other people are thinking, hence the low ratings.
If anything, wouldn't ABC pick it up for at elast 1 more season after this one?

I like it and am glad it's coming back, but it's rather soap opera-ish lately. Also, you'd think the actors would be tired of it by now and have movie offers . . .

Zak has done a couple of movies which weren't exactly hits.

Me too. It always makes me laugh and cry. I've enjoyed the creative imaginations of the cast, writers, producers, etc.
