Audrey Santo has died

I am very sorry to report that Audrey Marie Santo, who had been in a coma since her near-fatal accident in a swimming pool in 1987, died this past Saturday. According to her family, Audrey's death resulted from cardio-respiratory failure. :(

Known as "Little Audrey," Audrey Santo was believed to have caused miracles for many people. In the summer of 1987, when she was only three years old, she fell into a swimming pool at her home in Massachusetts. She nearly drowned, and had been comatose ever since.

UM did a segment on Audrey Santo in the spring of 1999. The segment, entitled "Coma Healer", is on the Miracles DVD set.

Oh this is sad. Yet, it is a blessing knowing she is no longer suffering and in the hands of God. May she finally R.I.P.

Oh my goodness. That's horrible news. This was always one of those segments that intrigued me and gave me a pick-me-up. Thanks for reporting, Kane.

She lived an amazing life and was able to touch more people in a positive way than most of us can dream of. As somebody who believes in an after-life, I think she is now free and doing fine.
