Did any of your favorite characters ever move from their homes or apartments during the run of their show?

Here are some examples from my favorite shows
Who's The Boss? - Sam moved out into a dorm & an apartment. Also Mona moved to an apartment in the back of Angela's house.
Three's Company- Chrissy Snow moves back home, The Ropers move to a different apartment, Cindy Snow moves to a UCLA dorm, and at the end they eventually all move out of the apartment.
Charles In Charge- The Pembrokes move out of the house.

Mary Richards (Mary Tyler Moore Show) switched apartments about midway through the show's run. Bob and Emily Hartley (Bob Newhart Show) moved into a new apartment in the show's last season.
Then you had shows that switched cities or states altogether -- Laverne & Shirley and My Three Sons, etc.

on FRIENDS...the girls lost a bet with the guys and had to move into their own apt...then they got it back... after getting some success , Joey moved from his old place and left Chandler alone. then he moved back.. after Ross agreed to be with Emily, he got rid of his apt and then he was supposed to move into her cousins, when they broke up , he moved in with Chandler and Joey , until he moved into UNG apt. Chandler moved into Monica's when they got back from Vegas... Rachel moved in with Phoebe... then she moved in with Joey where she stayed until she got pregnant when Joey suggested she move in with the father of her child.. Ross.. she stayed there until Ross and her had a fight after Emma was born when she moved back to Joey's... the last moving was when Monica and Chandler moved out of the city thus ending the show..also Rachel was going to Paris and moved out of Joey's.

on "Rhoda" she moved to another apt. when she got married. Mike and Gloria Stivic moved into the Jeffersons old house, then into a house in California and later Gloria moved back to New York and into another place. On "Phyliss" she moved out to San Fransisco and into her.... parents? in-laws?
"The Jeffersons" moved out of Queens, N.Y. and "moved on up" to that "deeluxe apartment...in the sky-y" in Manhatten.
Oscar and Felix got a new apt.; with no explanation; in the second season of "The Odd Couple". The Cunninghams got a new house with; again; no explanation; in the 2nd season of "Happy Days".

Leave It To Beaver- The Cleavers sell their house and move to another during the 2nd or 3rd season.
Welcome Back Kotter- The Kotters move from their small studio apartment to a bigger one before the twins are born. End of the 3rd Season, I believe.
The O.C.- The Cohens move from Newport to Berkley on the finale of their final episode.

On I Love Lucy, the Ricardos moved from their New York apartment to a house in Connecticut.
On Petticoat Junction, Betty Jo moved to a cottage with her husband when she married Steve. Later on, they moved into the Shady Rest Hotel (her former home) along with daughter Kathy Jo.
On All in the Family, Gloria and Mike Stivic moved into the house next door, and later moved away.

The Lucy Show Lucy moved from Connecticut to San Francisco during the fourth season without Viv and Lucy's daughter went to College, while her son went to Military school.
Perfect Strangers- Larry moved to a bigger apartment after Balki moved in permanently. After Larry and Balki get married they move into a house.
On Cheers Carla moves into a new house near the airport.
And on The Beverly Hillbillies they move from the shack in Tennessee to the Mansion in Beverly Hills, Ca.

Joanie, Chachi and Al all moved from Milwaukee to Chicago (and back) on Happy Days and Joanie Loves Chachi.
Also on the Beverly Hillbillies Jethro moves into his swinging bachelor pad for a very short time.

Mary Richards also moved to a new apt. in the shows last season.
Mary only moved apartments once, in Season 6. That's what catlover is referring to.
On Laverne & Shirley, Squiggy moves out of his mothers house and Lenny moves out of his brothers house into an apartment that thay can share.

On Frasier, Niles moved out of Maris's mansion after he split up with her. He moved to the Montana, then when Maris was supposedly bleeding him dry during the divorce, he had to move to the Shangri-la. Then he was able to move back to the Montana, when he got a good settlement from her.
On Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry & Cheryl moved into a new house, I think it was after the 1st season.
On Cagney & Lacy, the Lacy's move from a small apartment to a house.

On Step by Step, Dana briefly moved into a sublet apartment, but moved back home by the end of the episode.
Lurch (The Addams Family) moved away from the Addams mansion to live the life of a rock star. He then decided to move back with the Addams Family, who welcomed him home.
On Everybody Loves Raymond, Robert & Amy move in with his parents.

On My Name Is Earl, Earl has to move into a motel room with his brother Randy after his divorce from Joy.
On Two & a Half Men, Alan & Jake move in with Charlie after leaving his wife Judith.

From The Wonder Years:
Between the third (1989-90) and fourth (1990-91) seasons Winnie Cooper (and her family, for that matter) moved three or four miles, "across town" in the words of Wayne Arnold.
During the fifth (1991-92) season the Pfeiffers moved from their home across from the Arnolds to a country club.
Between the fifth and sixth (1992-93) seasons Karen Arnold moved to Alaska after marrying Michael.

Full House
Newlyweds Jesse & Becky briefly move into her apartment before returning to the Tanner house.
On The King Of Queens, Arthur moves in with his brother for a short time and then moves back to Doug & Carrie's house.
Also on King Of Queens Carrie moves into an apartment in Manhattan for a short time and then moves back home with Doug.

On Bewitched, Darrin and Samantha moved from an apartment to a house they bought on one of the first episodes. On Designing Women, Charlene and Bill also moved from an apartment to a house they bought.

Family Matters: Mother Winslow moves out when she gets married, Eddie moves out to a crappy apartment and then to a decent one but back home after Steve destroys it, Steve moves in with Eddie and after destroying the apartment he moves in with the Winslows
Full House: Becky moves in when she and Jesse get married.
Step by Step: Dana moves out twice, Rich and JT move into Carol's old hair salon
Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Sabrina moves in with her aunts, Valerie moves to Alaska, Sabrina goes to college, Sabrina and her college roommates move into her aunts' house.
Boy Meets World: Topanga moves in with her aunt; Shawn lives with Mr. Turner and then moves back in with his dad; Shawn moves in with his brother and Eric joins them; Cory & Shawn become roommates; Mr. Feeny moves to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and then back; Rachel moves in with Jack & Eric; Topanga & Angela become roomates; Topanga & Cory get married and move into the married dorm; Jack, Eric, & Shawn are roommates again; Angela & Rachel are roommates; Eric, Shawn, Cory, & Topanga move to New York
FRIENDS: Joey moves out and then back in, Ross switches apartments, Rachel & Monica switch apartments with Chandler & Joey and then back, Rachel moves in with Ross, Phoebe and then in with Joey, Chandler moves in with Monica, Phoebe was originally Monica's roommate but moved out and then when her apartment is being fixed she stays with Mon and Chan, Chandler & Monica move to Long Island (I believe) at the end.
I Love Lucy: They all move to the country.
The Wonder Years: Winnie moves across town, Karen goes to college
Someone was telling me about The Doris Day show where it switched cities after the first season.
