Weird combo, but I thought I'd put both dumb questions in one thread.
Has anyone ever bought anything from either place? How was the service from buy.com? And is IKEA furniture good or crappy, like any other some assembly required particle board garbage?
thanks!

OMG!! I love-love-love IKEA!!! I don't have one in my city, but I have been to the one in San Diego. It has really unique and great quality furniture. A bit expensive, but the style is unique and artsy.

A bit off-topic, but I love the ligonberry jam (Swedish berries)! I wish I could pick up a jar.

Two summers ago, I bought an air conditioner from Buy.com. I researched the one I wanted all over the internet, and Buy.com had the lowest price and free delivery. I haven't had a problem with it. It's a huge, zillion btu one, lol. No problems from Buy.com for me.

Cool. I saw a couple TVs that were cheaper than anywhere else I've checked.

IKEA is my favorite place ever. Seriously. It's so cheap (inexpensive, not low-quality). You have to assemble pretty much everything since its all sold in super flat boxes and such, but it's super easy. Pretty much everything in my dorm room is from IKEA...LOVE IT.

We have an Ikea near us. We bought a set of clothes drawers for our spare bedroom there. They are still in tact and aren't scratched or anything so I guess they are all right.
