You know what has come to me watching these dvd's...

HOW IN THE WORLD

Did Frank Sutton SCREAM & YELL every single one of his line?? Just imagine he has to yell 80% of his lines on the show, every week, every scene!  WOW!!

How in the world did his voice hold up and not go horse??????

Now Imagine on everyone of those shows, all the mistakes that happened & Frank had to do every scene probably a BUNCH of times!! So he is yelling all his lines, plus if someone flubs a line, he has to start over and YELL again.

geeez

Amazing that he could do that week after week, year after year... TAKE after TAKE!!!!

The more you think about it, the more it blows your mind. Think about this, next time you watch Frank on the show.

80% of ALL his lines is Frank SCREAMING at the top of his lungs

He was a very good actor. I suppose it was hard on his vocal cords to keep
up the yelling on each show. Its a wonder he didn't have problems with it, isn't it?

I agree, I also noticed that you're in Clarksville, TN. Have you by any chance visited Frank's gravesite? I know he's buried there.

No, I'm not sure which cemetery he is buried in. We have quite a few here.

Frank Sutton was perfectly cast as Sgt. Carter: he had served in the Marines
for 18 months during World War II.
