Info needed Unsolved Homicide of Cathy Dawson

This is the story of a young nurse found burned in her vehicle along a lonely road in Somerset County pa. It occured sometime between 1980 and 1985. I have been told that on the twenty year anniversary of the murder unsolved mysteries run an episode on the case. I can't find anything else out about the case. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

UM profiled similar cases (such as the 1987 death of Kathy Bonderson), but I can't recall having seen the Kathleen Dawson case on the show. :confused: It's possible that UM profiled the case very early in the show's run, and that the story never surfaced on Lifetime. But I can't say for certain.

Wow. A chill just ran through me. Kathleen Dawson disappeared the very day I was born.

In any case, it's fairly evident from an observer's perspective what happened to this poor woman. But legally, it wasn't enough to warrant an arrest. :(
