I know that things have been posted before on the release of season one, but in my opinion I wasn't too crazy about the quality of some of the episodes. This is just a list of episodes on the DVD that had problems with editing, alignment, etc.
1. Archie's New Partner: Part 1 - Originally aired as an hour long episode, yet on the DVD it was split into 2 parts. The first part has a running time of 22:14 which means there were edits on the DVD. Archie's line about Colonel Sanders was missing as well as dialogue at the end of the episode w/ Harry and Archie. This is how it is on the DVD.
Archie: "You dumb man."
Harry: "So who the hell are they?"
Archie: They was traitors, but you're worse than them...."
The missing dialogue is filled in below.
Archie: "You dumb man."

Archie: "You mean who the hell were they? Don't you know nothing about history"
Harry: "Well who?"
Archie: They was traitors, but you're worse than them...."
2. Archie's New Partner - Part II (Nothing wrong) - See Above
3. Edith Gets Hired (Nothing wrong)
4. Archie and the Oldest Prefession - The whole episode with the exception of the closing credits looks zoomed in, since the opening credits are not aligned with the center of the screen. At least the episode is unedited.
5. Edith vs. the Energy Crisis (Nothing wrong)
6. Bosom Partners (Nothing wrong)
7. Building the Restaurant (Nothing wrong)
8. The Cook (Nothing wrong)
9. Murray and the Liquor Board - No edits, but the episode is not aligned. The entire episode is shifted to the left since the "T" in Tandem during the closing credits is cut off. (When played with Windows Media player, the episode is fine)
10 & 11. Thanksgiving Reunion - Another hour long episode that was split into 2 parts, since the same scenes are shown in both parts.
12. Barney and the Hooker (Nothing wrong)
13. Man of the Year - No edits, but in the first shot of the second act, the picture is really zoomed in. (Maybe this was done for legal reasons).
14. The Shabbat Dinner - At the end of the scene w/ Edith and Mrs. Klein, Mrs. Klein says "Mrs. Bunker, this is your home and I'll try.", yet on the DVD she says "Mrs. Bunker, this is your home" and it quickly cuts back to Edith.
15. Barney's Lawsuit (Nothing wrong)
16. Blanche and Murray (Nothing wrong)
17. Murray's Daughter (Nothing wrong)
18. The Ambush (Nothing wrong)
19. The Return of Sammy (Nothing wrong)
20. Archie Fixes up Fred (Nothing wrong)
21. Father and Daughter Night (Nothing wrong - they just neglected to fix the closing credits since the credits and music aren't in sync)
22. Van Ranseleer's Operation (Nothing wrong)
23. Veronica's Ex (Nothing wrong)
24. A Small Mafia Favor (Nothing wrong)
