The bears are not a West coast offense, Garcia only performed well because he was in a back up role, and THE END-lol The bears are not interested in Jeff garcia

The Bears do need a new qb though. They can't win with Rex Grossman.

Garcia was really nothing more than "insurance" for Reid for last year when McNabb went down. Since his rookie year in 1999 he hasn't played but 3 full seasons out of 8. Also, he hasn't played a full season since 2003. he's really not a very durable QB. The Eagles better do whatever it takes to secure Garcia so he can be ready when McNabb "GOES DOWN" next year. It'll surprise me if he doesn't. But, you can just about look for it to happen.

Don't read too much into the Run the Eagles made the last 7 weeks, Garcia came in to take over late in the season and i asked to lead a team to the playoffs by starting in week one you know and I know that it won't happen. It's a big difference between being a stating QB as a Backup and being THE STARTER-lol

The point is though, he sucks winning or losing. Grossman is NOT an NFL qb.

I don't see the Bears in the NFC Championship game next year regardless of who is the qb.
The NFC is up for grabs. The Bears were simply hype and when the playoffs started- be honest- you could have seen any of the teams in the Superbowl.
(OK, not the Giants)

on ESPN I think the bucs said that they we're interested in getting Garcia
The Bears just need a QB who is consistent and won't make many mistakes. Their defense, running game and special teams are good enough to keep them in almost every game. I think Griese would do well as the starter if given the chance.

Griese was given the chance to start in Tampa and failed
That's not true Solomon. Griese helped them to their only victories in 2004 with a 97.5 QB rating and to a 5-1 record in 2005 before succumbing to a torn ACL (from Wikipedia). They only cut him because he got hurt.

Please TJ not the Inaccurate Wikipedia Website-lol
The numbers don't lie. Why did the Bears sign him to a 5 year contract? They obviously brought him in to compete with Grossman. He'd be the starter in Tampa Bay if he was still playing there.
