you can no longer watch the show when it's on cable or local tv? For me that would be
Sanford and Son
Three's Company
Good Times
All three of these shows are complete on DVD and been in syndication a lot since 2000 and when you combine both of those, it leads to BURN OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-LOL

Seinfeld.
I need at least a few years before I can watch that again.....I watched that during its original run, and in syndication for years, I've seen all but a few episodes...I haven't seen an episode since 2004..lol..Maybe I'll get back into it when they release the Final season on DVD, since that was my favorite season...

Probably Three's Company because once you see the entire shows on DVD, you would rather not watch the chopped-up versions of the show anyway. When I want to see an episode, I put on my DVD. No need to watch it on TV the way they butcher it.

I think it's something about a show being complete on DVD that makes a person not lay one eyeball on it if it's on Cable. I guess knowing you have the show complete and unedited in your home, it makes watching the show pointless

As for shows like Three's Company and Fresh Prince, I have bought the DVD's when they came out, but now after watching both over and over in reruns, I dislike watching both shows right now. That is the only bad things about DVD's-- in this case, I seemed to wasted my money!

Oh yeah...Bewitched too...N@N was showing it, then TV Land was showing it and then to top it off, I was watching tapes I had of it all the time. So finally I burned myself out on it. I'm sure I'll watch it again sometime in the future but I just can't seem to right now.
