Michael Landon didn't have anything to do with Touched By An Angel, ...did he?
But I think you are thinking of Highway To Heaven. That's one of my fav's, but I think Little House is my all-time favorite.

Don't know why, but I always get those 2 shows mixed up. Sorry about that.

I never got into Highway to Heaven and Bonanza is a pretty good show, but I would have to say that my favorite would have to be Little House on the Prairie.
I know that my mom's pet rooster prefers LHOTP over Bonanza even though we tell him that is Charles when he was younger.

I have to go with LHOP by default, as I've never seen enough of Bonanza or HTH to be really fair. I still have fond memories of watching LH as a kid with Grandma, and seeing much of the cast at the Tombstone Film Festival in the summer of 2005. :)

Tough call. They were all excellent programs, but I have to go with Bonanza. You could tell that the actors shared a close bond, esp. Michael, Dan Blocker and Lorne Greene. Michael often said that he felt about
Dan like a brother and Lorne was like a father to him.

I would have to say Little House on the Prairie. Highway to Heaven would be my second favorite. Bonanza is okay, but i'm not a big fan of westerns.
I like all of the shows, but LHOTP is #1 for me. It was awesomeness all around.

I loved all 3 shows but I'll probably go with Little House...watched it every Monday when it originally aired.

As a kid I was never into Little House on the Prarie, though my cousins watched it religiously it seemed.
But I love Bonanza and he is great on that.

ANYTHING with Michael Landon is JUST FINE by me. But he was esp. wonderful in Little House and Bonanza. And I'm not a big western fan per se either. But Bonanza reminds me of Singin' In The Rain where someone says "I don't like musicals" I LOVE this one. Some things are so good they transcend their genre.

Never watched many episodes of "Bonanza" (but he sure was good-looking in those, wasn't he?:loveya: ), or "Highway to Heaven" so my pick is for LHOTP. I'll always remember him as Charles Ingalls!

LHOTP is #1 for me, but Highway to Heaven is a close second. I have both shows on DVD. Everything Michael Landon touched turned to gold.

I never saw a Michael Landon role I didn't like. However, his role as Little Joe Cartwright on Bonanza will always be my favorite.

That's true!! I wonder how "Us", the show he was working on at the time of his death, would've turned out had he lived.

You're right. Everything I've heard or read about ML says that he was totally dedicated to his work, and related well to cast members, treating everyone with respect, while holding himself and others to the standards and vision he had set for whatever show he was part of. I think his success would've undoubtedly continued.
