I got it from a very good source, the final tape date for bob barker on the price is right will be Wed June 6th 2007. The show will air sometime in mid june. No official date has been announced for the airing yet. When I get it I will pass it along.

I am hearing talk about once again airing old price is right episodes on the game show network. There has been a bitter battle about this for years now. For the first time in years there has been a little bit of movement on this issue.

It will more than likely be a while before anything gets worked out, but at least there is hope now!!!

I wish CBS would get off their freaking high horse about that. GSN isnt even in over half of American households, so they wouldnt lose that many ratings.

They're stingy about other daytime shows as well. I read in Soap Opera Digest a while ago, they wont even let AOL put classic episodes of As The World Turns and Guiding Light on their online Procter & Gamble classic soaps channel. How SoapNet could successfully grab rights to air same day episodes of The Young & The Restless is beyond me.

My guess is they're probably freaking out that the show is coming to DVD. The ratings will just come crashing down! :rolleyes:

That is correct, the last original show for Bob will be taped on June 6th, the air date is tenative at this point but I will pass it along as soon as I get it.

Cbs is also planning several primetime shows to honor Bob as well. One will be a million dollar spectacular like they have done in the past & another will be a official tribute to Bob which will more than likely air the night before his final daytime show airs.

There will be a formal primetime show for Bob during the may sweeps. It is going to be a million dollar spectacular with clips, funny moments, the whole nine yards. Cbs wanted the show to be all clips, but Bob insisted that games be played on his tribute show. It will not just be the same old clips that we have seen in specials in the past. There will be new ones that will jog our memory!!!! There is also a plan to air another primetime show the night before his last daytime show airs. That plan may be scratched from what I am hearing. Still no official air date for bobs final show, it will be taped on june 6th with an air date soon there after.

His last price is right show will definitly air in its normal daytime slot.
