I think there was a show that came on in the 1980's called Merlin's door, but not sure of the title. Anyway the show dealt with a teenage boy who had a passage through his closet to meet Merlin. He had a series of adventures such as a duplicate of him so he could go on two dates. Does anyone know what this show's name might have been and when it aired. I have been trying to find information regarding this show but have no luck.

could possibly be mr. merlin where kid ( named Zack had merlin who I think was a garge owner and did magic.

I think it was called just "Merlin" and it aired in 1981.

Did they ever air repeats of the show? I think I remember watching it sometime after 1981.

I remember Mr. Merlin it came on CBS. Barnard Hughes played Max Merlin(Merlin)and Clark Brandon played Zachary Rogers(Zac).Then they had Jonathan Prince as Zac's bestfriend Leo and Elaine Joyce I had a big crush on her she played Alexandra who helped out Merlin. For the Tv Triva Buffs Jonathan Prince four years later played on THROB also played a Zachary. Zachary Armstrong.

I Remember this show CUZ THE TWO YOUNG GUYS ON IT WERE CUTE!!!!!!:D I've been calling it Merlin & Me,but I guess your right:Mr. Merlin.
