Of interest for those of us trying to solve the ever-elusive mystery, today's episode showed the state seal of Arizona, doctored of course:

Really? Strange, since the Governor went to an Arizona dude ranch in "Mid-life Crisis" and Benson had to "fly to Arizona" to talk him out of staying there permanently. So that wouldn't make much sense. Of course we know that's all part of their evil plan.

In "Pete the Hero" I laugh when they show the state seal because when you try to read what it says, the name of the state is complete gibberish.

I remember in one episode some one is trying to figure out what the state motto was but they can't because it was written in latin on the state seal. Benson or maybe it was Clayton, comes to the rescue and translates it out to say some thing like,"if it's not broke don't fix it". That was so funny.

This is from "Mary and Her Lambs" (I was just watching it today)...the Governor says he got the President a belt buckle with the state motto on it, and then Benson says to him, "You got the President a belt buckle that says 'if it's not broke, don't fix it'?" Pete then says it sounds better in Latin.

Si fractum non sit, noli id reficere.

I don't know if it sounds any better actually!

Another seal sighting in "$1,000,000 and hour" -- this one looked like it had a scale and a key. However, the closest match (i.e. not much) seemed to be Wisconsin b/c of the shape of the coat of arms.
