This is mostly for my peace of mind but does anyone remember these two shows that were on TBS in the 80's? The first was called Back Down to Earth. I can only remember some of the theme song that went: "Back in the days of Valentino, we know...." Anyway it was about a female 20's star/flapper that had died and now apperaed as a ghost housekeeper or something to the kids who lived there.
The second was called "Rocky Road" and was about a bunch of kids with no parents who ran an ice cream shop. Did I make this stuff up?

Nope, I remember them to. I think the first one was just called "Down to Earth", and Dick Sargent from "Bewitched" was in it.

These were two of the first made-for-cable series. The same production company had another show on TBS around the same time called "Safe at Home," about a couple of sportscasters, one of whom was raising his little sister. I wrote two episodes for the latter.

I remember those shows too I first watched Down To Earth when TBS put it on the weekends then change it to Monday thru Friday. I like it when they all three shows back to back to back. For you Tv and Movie Triva Buffs Rocky Road's costar Lewis Arquette is the father of Rosanna, Pat, David, Alex, Arquette. The woman who played the older sister who took care of the shop is married in real life to Willie Aames and the woman who played Sunny the lifeguard on the show played Willie Aames's Buddy's nurse girlfriend on Charles In Charge.
