Are there any people that have been obnoxious towards, and you hated them, or still hate them?
Right now, I hate 4 people. 2 kids I grew up with that were *******s. Not surprisingly, both are dead. And, Isiah Thomas and Jose Canseco.

This thread has the potential to be troublesome, so I'm heading it off at the pass. There is to be no discussion of anyone whom you hate at SO. Furthermore, no sly little references, clues, etc. Thanks.

one person. it's because of them that i know what true hatred feels like. i've only told a few close friends about them. they're not even worth making fun of; the mere mentioning of this person makes me extemely uncomfortable, except for times like this when i'm not saying who it is or why i hate them. if i were to write a story of my life, i would completely omit them and everything they had to do with me.

I try not to. If there really is someone lothesome enough to hate, they're probably not worth the energy that goes into hating.

Mee too!
(I do try my best to be cool with everyone though. There's this 1 bitch that I cannot stand, and she just had to be involved in our New Years plans, but whatever. I try. Oh how I try...)

Many people. Let's face it...I'm actually very full of hatred. Not a good thing, but I'm a grudge holder and don't like being humiliated and screwed over.
I hate 2 of my ex bosses. I haven't worked for these people since July of 2004, but to this day I still wish death on them. Seriously. The mental anguish they put me through was too much to overcome and they got off scot-free. That makes my blood boil.
A guy I used to like who humiliated me and also ruined my mental state. At one time I remember hoping he got run over by the EL (he lives in Chicago). I still wouldn't mind that.

Yes. sad to say my number of enemies have grown over the past 2 yrs. the thing thats sad about most of this is that a lot of the people i hate now were former friends. You just have to move on people change sometimes for better and sometimes for worse.

Hate is a useless emotion. Hurts the hater more than the person the one being hated. The best thing is to erase the jerks from your mind if possible. The old don't let them rent space in your head deal.

Oh, there's this one girl I went to school with a real long time ago.
Nowadays, I just sit back and laugh at her, the bitch, because she totally played up her post-high school goals when we were in high school. She went to college in Rochester, NY, met some 45 year old skank guy while she was there (this was in early 04). This guy is a stupid ****ing ******* ***** because he was still married when he began his affair with her. He divorced his poor wife almost immediately, because apparently he and the girl from my school were so0o0o0o0o in love when they met. BARF.
What happened afterwards, was that she dropped out of this school in New York at the end of the spring 2005 semester, and she moved down to North Carolina to live with him. They got married in October of 2005 and now she has a child. This stupid *****'s TEEN daughters surely must hate their stepmom and their father for ripping apart their family like that. Personally, I think the whole thing is ****ing hilarious. She was a stupid bitch anyway.
I don't waste my energy on her anymore. I haven't seen her since we graduated from high school in 2003, and I'm going to keep it that way. I've been so much happier with that stupid girl not being part of my life.

I got to thinking...
I think that there are traits in ppl I hate (but not necessarily the ppl themselves).
Here are some of those traits:
hypocrisy
ungratefulness
lying
deceitfulness

I try not to hate anyone. I think it takes way too much energy to hate people and hold onto grudges. On the other hand, I do understand this is definitely tough.
There are a couple of ex-coworkers who did things to me personally after initially being a friend to them. I never received an apology from either one. I do see one of them from time-to-time, but I just don't associate myself with her and just ignore her. The other person I was once close friends with, and she moved out of state for nearly 19 months. She is now back in town and visited us at work. She greeted me, but I was cold towards her. I was NOT in the mood that day to talk to her. I later pondered over my behavior over her. I came to the conclusion that I am willing to give her another chance should our paths cross (we have a mutual friend), but I would appreciate an apology. I know that is a longshot, but there was some emotional damage that made me really hate her. In fact, that last time I saw her before her return was on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 (nearly two years ago).
In the longrun, I try and just forgive people. Surely, I will never forget, but forgiveness takes a lot of courage. I have had some fallouts with people I like, and I would also hope they would be courageous enough to give me a chance as well. The golden rule - do onto others as you would want done onto you. So true.

Hate is a strong feeling. I try not to hate on anyone and so far I don't. Though I do find some people annoying, obnoxious, rude, mean, etc.

there's only one person i really hate, but i have a reason to hate him because of all the crap he did to my family (not my immediate family, but my aunts...uncles...ect). he's just a horrible person in general, and the person im talking about is my "uncle" (i dont consider him that, though). he harassed everyone for years, and i and my entire family have reason to hate him.
other then that, there are about 2 people who i STRONGLY, STRONGLY dislike, but i dont "hate" them.

I don't think there's anyone I hate. Sometimes I feel like I hate someone, but I don't really. It's only when someone's done something to really upset me, and I think to myself, "I hate them", but I don't mean it.
I think "hate" is used too loosely, anyway. For instance, I've heard people say they "hate" a few famous people that I'm very fond of - I like the Bee Gees, Beatles, Buddy Holly, Elvis, etc. I can understand people not being a fan of them, but I think that saying they "hate" them is going too far. They've never met them, so they haven't any reason to hate them personally.
I've even heard people wish death on some famous people, which I think is out of order. I mean, I know there are some celebrities out there who are not the most admirable people, but they're essentially harmless, and for people to wish death on anyone is horrible. In late 2005, a famous British ex-footballer called George Best died, and I saw some people on forums saying horrible stuff like "good riddance" and things like that.
Fortunately, all the famous people I like are honourable, admirable, respectable people. Although, to my anger, there has recently been some rubbish in some of the newspapers about Barry and Robin Gibb. The whole thing started a few days ago when it came to light that Tony Blair had gone to Miamia to spend a short holiday in Robin Gibb's home in Miami. (Barry also has a home there.) Fuelled by the media, and some other politicians who have criticised him, the whole thing is creating quite a bit of controversy in Britain, and yesterday, I read an unkind article in a British newspaper, talking in depth about Barry and Robin Gibb, that basically stated a load of lies, mixed with a couple of truths. The article was painting a picture of them as rather sleazy, drug-taking, lavish, tacky partiers, which I know is untrue. There were a couple of statements in the article that were correct, such as the mention that Robin's wife is a Druid, but about 95& of the article was rubbish and untrue. It really angers me that there are going to be some people reading this and getting a totally false impression of what Barry and Robin Gibb are like.

Have you met him personally? I hate Isiah Thomas and Jose Canseco, but I met them, and I can honestly say they are the biggest jerks in the sports industry. I've heard people say they hate athletes, but they don't mean it.
