Question about Webster.....

I have a bet with my friends about Webster.... First of all is Webster a midget in real life? I say he's not, my friends say he is. Second, is Webster the same kid that was on Different Strokes? I say he's not, my friends say he is. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure Emanuel Lewis suffered from something that deterred his growth, but I'm not sure whether that classifies him as a midget... The Internet Movie database says he was born in 1971, so he was 12 when the series started, and 16 when it ended, so that should tell you that he simply wasn't "normal". The second question is a definite no. Gary Coleman was on Different Strokes.

The show actually ended in 1989 (it went into first-run syndication for 2 seasons after leaving ABC), so he would have been 17 or 18.
