I guess I'm confused about the Whole Ignore List thing

I thought that if someone was on my Ignore list, that I wouldn't receive email notifications if that person replied to a Thread I was apart of? I guess I was wrong. That was the purpose of me doing the ignore list feature was because I thought I wouldn' be notified by email if the person on my ignore list responded to a thread I was subscribed to.

I believe that Ignore list is just for a person to NOT receive personal PMs directed to you from an ignored person. I think thread notifications are much too generalized to just weed out the people you don't wish to read their post replies.

Yea if you use ignore you won't receive any pm's from that person.

You also can't view their posts... But if you want to, you can click on a link to view their post.

well u can go to your preferences and not get emails about replies at all

i have mine set up so that i dont get ANY emails about who replies to threads
b/c before i did that i was getting like a zillion emails a day and it was easier to just check back to the thread myself

It's easier for me to receive the Emails
I remember you once asked me if I did that email notification. You asked me how I knew when someone posted on my thread. I told you that I just use my memory to remember what threads I made and what threads I posted to. I don't understand how you can deal with email notification when there a BILLION responses to your threads.:crazy:
