Actually I have a few-
La La Means I Love You by the Delphonics
My Guy by Mary Wells
Tonight Your Mine by the Shirells
My Girl by the Temptations
What Becomes of A Broken Heartache (I THINK that's the name of it, and I THINK it's by The Manhattans. I am not sure though.)

I lerb Lisa Whelchel! LERB is me and Morganne's word lol.
Blair: Well, you don't see me getting all upset when people tell me how gorgeous I am!
Watch out for the Scary Pie man Dana he is gonna come get you!
I'm not one to answer these favorites questions but I'll list a few songs that are special to me.
California Dreamin' evokes a sweet nosatalgia anytime that I hear it.
The House of the Rising Sun...by The Animals. Down and dirty real life blues roots. I'm still surprised that they got away with it. They played it on the radio right along with Peter, Paul & Mary and other such trite stuff.
Jimmy Hendrix version of 'The Star Spangled Banner' should be getting daily radio play these days. That masterpiece is an exemplary model of America's freedom. So much more inspirational then the banal speaches the politicians keep trotting out for us to 'get behind'.

Oh man I could never choose just one. Late 60s-70s is my favorite era of music.
I agree with kitt on all three of his choices...especially House of the Rising Sun and California Dreamin', I have always loved those.
Ok, I'm going to add a few, I am not absolutely sure if all of these were in the 60s or the 70s, and I'm not going to bother to look it up, so bear with me. At any rate they'll be near that general era...
San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair) -Scott McKenzie
White Rabbit -Jefferson Airplane
Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In -The Fifth Dimension
Hurricane -Bob Dylan
Happy Together -The Turtles
Actually I think alot of those may have been from the 70s, except for the Turtles. So, sorry, I wasn't alive then so sometimes I get these things mixed up, plus I just woke up, so my brain ain't on straight just yet.
Just be glad you didn't ask about the 70s because I could prattle on forever. As it stands, I will probably be back to add to this list...

Excuses, excuses, Bootsy. But all but 'Hurricane' were from the sixties. So ya done good! 'Flowers...' is as sixties as you can get. "White Rabbit" (LSD) and all of that, is also. And 'Aquarius' is from the stage play, "Hair". VERY sixties. Hurricane was, as you probably know, about the wrongly convicted boxer. That one I think was in the seventies. Did you see the movie, "The Hurricane" from about a year ago? Denzel Washington played the starring role.
