anyone remember what
ROMPER STOMPERS were?????
Lamont

i remember watching the show as a kid
but not much else
wasnt what you would call a memorable show!
(but i do recall the movie romper stomper with russell crowe as a skinhead!)
loren
11-14-2006, 08:52 PM
a romper stomper was a plastic flower pot, that was turned up-side-down, and then you used it like a small set of stilts
a cord was attached and the kid lifted the flower pot up when they walked
it made a lot of noise
so double cool
the station would run promo adds for you to come to the station and buy them
no toll free number adds back then yet
next on romper room trivia
anyone remember what a
DO BEE and a DONT BEE was ??

Wow one day off of suspension and already looking for trouble?
Is now okay to blatantly insult members in you signature and avatar?
Bobby you started the little avatar jab, then Ms.Whine (who is no fan of mine) decides to copy your form and take a jab at Sol.
Now you just add more insults (at 2 members now) to your signature with personal references no less. Yet you go after Monty for stirring the pot.
Good lord guys ... grow the hell up.
I suppose I can add "F Bobby" to my signature and that would be okay too, .... No honestly TJ I was referring to Bobby from the Brady Bunch .... get real. Your Avatar has nothing to do with your love of Sanford and Sons and you sig has nothing to do with your alcohol consumption. They are both 100% meant to cause trouble.
Lamont removed himself from the political forums to avoid the insult battles, what a hell of a coincidence that you have hardly posted there since he left. Instead you follow him around stirring $#!+ and then blaming him.
Poor Robby Rob,

What they don't show is the manual crank that you had insert and spin about 20 times to build up the roller speed. I certainly got my arm workouts, a few years later they came out with and electric one but I preferred the manual one becuase you could build up enough speed to send the cars flying off the track (many little car dents in the bedroom walls).

I didn't know there was any interest in Romper Room. I got an episode in a trade a while back. I've got it somewhere, I'll look it out. I'm sure it had an appearance of a Baseball player or something like that.

well, my intention was to ask politely for this to stop before I have to RE-lock this thread or start deleting posts (which would actually be my preference for "off-topic" posts - even if it spoils the show)
