Has anyone bought tv dvds from either DVDEmpire or DeepDiscount.com?

I want to pre-order a copy of the Family Ties First Season TV DVD set. I'm not sure though if either of the sites are safe. Are they safe or a scam? Thanks.

DeepDiscountDVD is AWESOME. I've not brought anything from DVD Empire, but I have brought a ton of stuff from DeepDiscountDVD before. DDD rocks! Their headquarters are in Illinois, so I get my DDD packages pretty quickly. The same people that run DDD also have DeepDiscountCDs.com, and they will also be launching DeepDiscountBooks.com soon.

You can go on ahead and preorder from DDD. :) It's safe, you'll be fine.

BUTTTTT be cautious

i used to buy a LOT of pre-order dvds and books and cds from a site--- GOOD SITE that was around for 7 or 8 years and they had a 40,000 feedback on ebay over 8 years---- and i had used them for over a year

NEVER AN ISSUE and always good services and prices

BUTTTT last fall--- i sent them $350 pay pal for a bunch of stuff---- 2 weeks later i get an email that they are BANKRUPT AND closing the site and ebay account and i filed pay pal complaint, BUT SINCE THERE WAS NO $$$$ to be had, i got no refund

so be careful, even the best sites can go south!

I second that. They are cheap, fast and reliable. Never had a problem with them. Also perfect if you order from outside the US since they don't make you pay more for customs like Amazon usually does.
